  1. For the most part they should work, Launchbox/Bigbox will pick up media with the same name as the game is called in Launchbox, or the file name of the actual rom. I would be careful of pointing Launchbox to your hyperspin media though as by default Launchbox does use a slightly different naming scheme, as it generally adds a -01, -02 etc to the end of images. So it may rename your images if you update your images and metadata from within Launchbox, if it does that it may not be picked up by RocketLauncher/Hyperspin anymore due to the naming not being what they are looking for. See image for how Launchbox actually name images it downloads from within it's UI.
  2. Have you set a key/button to actually switch themes while inside of a platform, and if so you are doing it there right, and not in the main platform wheel?
  3. Check that you unzipped them correctly, there should be files and folders inside them, if you have another folder with the same name inside them that is wrong.
  4. It's just if roms are stored inside the Lunchbox folder, if they are it makes Lunchbox portable and you can drag and drop the whole folder to another drive/pc and it will still work.
  5. Try going to your Launchbox folder and move the settings.xml out to the desktop and see if it loads, it could be corrupt settings. EDIT: Sorry Launchbox/Data/settings.xml
  6. I thought we fixed this for you in your other thread yesterday, you can add anything you want.
  7. Its in the xaml for that view, but i cant help you there im afraid, i know nothing about the xaml coding. It is slower in the other unified themes, Jason sped it up for his variant.
  8. Launchbox/Data/Playlists you can just delete the .xml's. Make sure you close Launchbox first though.
  9. I have seen that also in Retroarch, setting the video driver to D3D11 seemed to fix it for me. So seems like a driver issue, i cant remember if i was using GL or Vulkan before switching it, but i dont see the issue with D3D11.
  10. First) Game videos come from Emunovies but you need a paid subscription there to get them in Launchbox. Second) Make sure you are on the correct view, only one has the box art and spinning disc. Lastly) Same as above, sounds like you are on the Text list view, either go to options/views and change the view, or set a button to it in controller options to switch it on the fly.
  11. Options/music/onscreen display.
  12. Right click the game, go to edit, then emulation tab, check the box for commandline then put in the core you want, so it looks like this.
  13. On this page, click the download button top right.
  14. Yes i know that, i was just showing that it works. OK then, i have just created a Nintendo 64 HD platform in Launchbox and i added the same Homer image with the name Nintendo 64 HD, and again it works just fine.
  15. Works just fine for me, as you can see below i added a Homer background image and named it "Super Nintendo Entertainment System" and it shows behind Super Nintendo in Unified Redux just fine.
  16. No, the default images are .jpg. Looks like you may be using a old version of the theme, possibly one that does not support what you are trying to do. I would re-download the current version of the theme and try that. Jason specifically says in the download description that he converted all images to .jpg which halved the size of the theme.
  17. Right click them, edit, parents tab, uncheck root and check arcade.
  18. Glad you got it sorted. It was very unlikely this was a Launchbox issue as, as i said its been re-written since you last had the issue, lets hope you can now track down the software causing the issue.
  19. Then that is very strange because as i said this is the first report of this i have ever heard, and since you last used Launchbox the program has been completely rewritten in a different environment, and the UI interaction has been re-written also. Do you have controllers enabled in the options? If so does disabling it affect it at all?
  20. No there is no known solution for this as it's the first time we have ever heard of this issue. To be honest with you it sounds like a hardware or software issue on your PC as i have never heard anyone with this issue before. Have you tried unplugging USB devices and plugging them back in one by one to see if something is interfering with your mouse? It could also be a controller plugged in with the analog stick drifting slightly.
  21. I used to have a GTX 770 in my rig and it was fine for everything, although that was before i used CEMU or rpcs3 so i dont know how they would run on it.
  22. Yes, in the Launchbox folder are shortcuts for Launchbox and Bigbox, just copy it wherever you want it, i have them both pinned to my taskbar for example.
  23. Bigbox is for controller/Joystick use, Launchbox is the general setup UI and is mouse focused, so the controller acts like a mouse there.
  24. Yeah unfortunately i have no experience with joy2key so someone else will have to chime in on that. I actually use controller companion myself but its not free software, it is currently 33% off on steam though so is currently $2/£1.33, https://store.steampowered.com/app/367670/Controller_Companion/ This does exactly what you want by setting profiles for programs that automatically load/unload when a program is run, however its xinput only by default but you can install x360ce from within it, which makes other controllers act like xbox ones. Here is my Bigbox profile.
  25. The problem you will have there is that is likely a mix of xinput and dinput controllers and they map the buttons differently. For example B on the xbox controller the one you reference might be recognized as B or 2 depending on the controller, where as 2 on a dinput controller could be any button even shoulder buttons. So what you are asking is not possible in Bigbox, you can turn on use all controllers but that will assume the buttons are the same on each controller, so B may be back on the xbox ones but not the dinput ones. You could try mapping keyboard buttons to the controllers using third party software so they are all mapped the same, then turn off controllers in Bigbox.
