Excellent, Thanks Jason. I did mess with it a bit, but i broke the theme. I didnt realize that it was zero based, so thats likely where i went wrong as i tried changing all those percentages around and was starting from a 1 rather than 0 for the rows and columns.

Yeah, i have actually copied and renamed one of those non default themes for all my other CD based systems so as to have the spinning disc for them., works just fine.

Updated the theme to V1.0.1 New: Slowed the ramp up of the disc spinning for the disc system .xaml's in the theme.

Yeah, I think it is to do with the column sizes, but I didn't want to mess with those in case I broke everything. Personaly what I would like is clear logo top left, 3d box top right, and cart/disc bottom right. I don't have the skills for that though unfortunately.

The beta thread isn't the place for this, but you need to be in platform category view then just right click the platforms.

If you have Emumovies premium they can be downloaded from within Launchbox and they will automatically be put in the correct location. However if you have to download them from there website they go in Launchbox/Videos/Platforms or Launchbox/Videos/Playlists depending on what they are. You may also need to rename them to match what your platform/playlists are called.

Unfortunately i couldnt work that out, i know nothing about xaml i just used trial and error and some educated guesses to get it like that. Hopefully someone who actually knows xaml will dig into the code more thoroughly than i can and offer some pointers.

Multi Images Startup Theme View File This is a Startup/Shutdown theme for Launchbox 9.3 and above. Four images are displayed in this theme, top row left to right, 3D Box, Clear Logo and Screenshot. The bottom right of the window will show Cart - Front for cart based systems or a rotating Disc - Front for CD/DVD based systems. If you have a CD/DVD based system that is not included in the theme you can copy/paste one of the existing ones from the startup theme folder and rename it to match your system name. Awesome, just had a quick play and seems to be working well so far. Ill give it more of a beating over the course of the day, but so far looking great.

You need to change bigbox to Platform category view, not Platform view. It's in Options/View, you will need to restart Bigbox after switching it.

Yeah weird, it shows alphabetically for me here, both in the options screen and via the shortcut button.

1) Right click the game and go to edit, then the additional apps tab, click on the version you want as default then click the make default button, that version will know be launched with the normal way. 2) I believe it cant be specified for playlists currently.

Well best is subjective, it just depends on what art you prefer and weather or not you want to mess with add-on themes.

Hmm, strangely i don't have that shader available. I updated all my shaders through the UI and it doesnt show for me.

Unified by critical cid is the original theme, Jason then tweaked a few things in it to his liking and released it as unified redux, then retrohumanoid also edited the original unified to his liking while also making a ton of art for it and released it as unified refried. They are all based off of critical cids original with some variances here and there.

I suggest unchecking all the image downloads if you already have a ton, as yes it would download duplicates. After you have run the import you can high lite all the games and go to tools/metadata and image down loader and run the wizard and choose the middle option to not over right existing media, so this will just download what you are missing.

You will find most emulators only use the CPU, some use a GPU as well but not many. I think you may need to read up on how emulation actually works, the vast majority of it is all done on the CPU.

And yes you will get better performance from Yabuase, but its a far far worse emulator and highly inaccurate.

It doesnt care about your GPU as its not used, it's all down to your CPU clock speed.

No we cant link bios files. Have you actually checked in Retroarch that it is the correct bios like i asked? The name may be the same but that doesnt mean it is correct or will work, retroarch will say its present if correct, like you can see in this image. Both my JAP and US/EU say they are present.

Error fail to load is usually because the game or the bios is wrong/broken,if you load the core and go to info in the main Retroarch UI does it show the bios as present? Also you dont need to scan the games into retroarch, but if you are and its not seeing it that usually only happens if you dont have the core for that system downloaded. My games imported there fine but mine are in CHD format. Also when you try to load the game in Retroarch you are loading the .cue right not the .bin, bins dont work in the beetle saturn core.
