  1. The roms would be fine on the SD card, in fact that would be my recommendation anyway as they are read only and are only read when launching a game. As for the poor performance point, yes i am referring to lag and slow loading elements in the UI. Launchbox/Bigbox is doing a lot of reading and writing at all times, its scanning image folders, scanning platform.xml's for game info, scanning for and playing videos, loading clear logos/boxart all at the same time, and SD cards really are not designed for that sort of random read and writes, they are more for steady reading and writing of single files like photos or video, or just general storage. My suggestion would be to keep the roms and videos on the SD card, but keep Launchbox and all the images on the internal drive.
  2. Launchbox is a portable program, so if you have your emulators and roms inside of the Launchbox folder then yes you can just copy/paste the whole folder to the sd card. If your roms and emulators are outside of the launchbox folder it "should" still work also, but you may need to change some paths like you mentioned. A word of warning though, SD cards are not designed for a lot of random reads and writes, they are more for actual storage of files, so you may have poor performance when running Launchbox/Bigbox from the SD card.
  3. No, thats what im saying some of the games you want may rely on other game zips, just copying the games you want to play may not work as it may require files from another game zip.
  4. Unfortunately not, and MAME is very difficult to move roms period. If you have a merged or split MAME romset then the games you want to move may actually rely on files inside of other game zips. This is why the merged and split sets are smaller than the non-merged, the non-merged has every file needed inside of each zip, the split and merged ones do not, and may rely on other files inside completely different games, so just copying the games you want may actually not contain all the files needed to actually run them.
  5. Yeah the bios is a small part of a longer video, you can download them from within Launchbox, tools/download platform/playlist videos they are the cinematix videos, only a handful have the bios at the start but the PS2 one is one of them.
  6. I think you are a little confused here, the image in your post is of the critical zone theme, and the video screen in the backgrond is a actual video that showcases the platforms games. There are no themes that include the console bios startup videos. Some of our platform videos do have the bios at the start which quickly changes to showing games however. Of course with Launchbox/Bigbox you can use whatever videos you want, so if you download the bios videos and name them correctly and put them in the correct folder they will work, but as they are usually so short they will just repeat over and over very quickly while you are in the platform screen, i don't know about you but that would annoy me having a video repeat every few seconds.
  7. Do the roms actually work if you unzip them? What format are they inside the zip and what emu are you using.
  8. Yes a coincidence, Launchbox never touches configs in any emulator you setup in it, it just passes the game to the emulator.
  9. If you imported them with the name Arcade, then you need to delete NeoGeo in those images and change it to Arcade, the platform name in launchbox and the associated platform tab have to match exactly.
  10. Call the emulator Retroarch in launchbox not neo geo, then go to the associated platform tab and choose the core from the dropdown.
  11. That style of theme is certainly possible to make, just looks like the users here who make themes have no interest in that style.
  12. Edit your cart front priorities in Launchbox.
  13. Black Friday deals have never been announced in advance before, you will just have to wait and hope that it happens.
  14. There are two Beetle ps1 cores the standard and the HW one, make sure that in the associated platform tab for Retroarch in Launchbox is actually using the HW core and not the standard one.
  15. Thats actually what i meant, probably should of worded it better.
  16. Not really im afraid, the MAME importer is for MAME games only at this stage. You can try the below scripts to copy those games to there own folder and import them that way, it's for a older MAME romset (0.184) but should work for the most part.
  17. Could be a framerate issue, check that your PC is running at 60fps, also not knowing your specs it could just be very weak hardware.
  18. Did you use the new MAME importer? If so then that is by design as only games that are marked as working in MAME are actually imported, hence no Atomiswave or Naomi games are imported, they don't work in MAME.
  19. Are you running any shaders? It could be incompatible. Although if SMS and 32X are working with the same core it shouldn't be that, but worth checking. Have you tried the games in another emulator? It could be that they are broken or corrupted.
  20. I have just tested my Arcade audit here and everything populated fine first time. I see your roms are on a NAS, is the program on that also or is it local.
  21. A couple of things to check, You say you made a platform called Nintendo 64 hd, but the images are called Nintendo 64 HD, capitals instead of lower case. Also what format are the images in, all the default ones in that theme are .png are the ones you have? It shouldnt normally matter, but maybe hardcoded to .png in the theme, i honestly dont know there.
