Yeah I am getting the same error on 8.0 beta 5 and it was fine last night. Ill tag Jason here to make him aware. @Jason Carr it looks like if RetroAchievements goes down that it crashes Launchbox as its trying to log into a non available service, you may want to add some code so that it doesn't crash the program if the server isn't reachable.

Try logging out of retro achievements and see if it still crashes.

Yeah was about to say, I see a retroachievements error there, and there site is down at the moment.

Hello to you both and welcome. I notice in the error message you are on Launchbox 7.15, the current version is 7.16 so you could try updating, it may make no difference but its always good to stay current as bugs get squished all the time. Also are either of you using any plugins?

Circo did say there may be some small outages this week as they are migrating to a bigger server, after the other got filled up (that was the issue at the weekend). So you may of just got unlucky, or you may have a issue on your end.

By default Launchbox looks in your Launchbox/Games/name of platform folder, if you didn't move your roms there then you need to go to tools/manage platforms and change the path to were your roms are.

Yeah that's more of a personal preference thing though. I us 3D boxes exclusively in my setup and I love them, each to there own as they say.

1080p for me, but I'm running on a 60" TV so I don't use scaling at all (everything is big enough) I have seen others though on a 1080p TV using 125-150% scaling, due to say 32-42" screens but at 10" away.

Of course you agree, I speak truth. lol Yeah looks real nice, I chop and change my theme on the regular, as I have never found one I 100% like, I could use different themes for different views, but I don't like that approach as everything looks different and doesn't match.
