  1. If so set your region, then rescrape your boxes.
  2. there is a region preference in tools/options/region priorities. Check the one you want move it to the top of the list, then go back and refresh your images.
  3. Also you can go to options/image cache and refresh wheels.
  4. They are downloaded during import unless you unchecked them.
  5. Yep what @Retro808 said all "Themes" have several "views" and they all have that text view by default, you can switch the view through options/view or set it to a controller button/keyboard button and switch on the fly.
  6. Yeah the game description would have to be in English I'm afraid, the reason for this is a lot of other language speakers also usually speak a little English, as well as there native language. Where as if it was in Italian only Italians or Italian speakers would be able to read it.
  7. Discord is a text and voice program, it is mostly used by gamers to chat during games, but it can be used by anyone for anything. Launchbox has a official channel there with main channel, support channel, database channel etc. Here is the link to it. As for uploading to the database, you could use this Launchbox plugin which automates uploading your data for specifics games to the database, just drop it in the plugin folder then you can right click a game and choose upload to datatbase. The data will still have to be looked over by our moderators before it is approved but would be quicker than adding images and info one by one.
  8. Well you could have both with the theme folder, so a normal snap and a theme video. Obviously you could not have both of those in the standard video folder as they would be named the same and if you tried adding one it would ask you to overite the other, so this is how its handled, and there is a option in bigbox to prioritize the theme videos over the standard snaps. Edit, And yeah what @DOS76 said.
  9. The theme folder is for the James Baker game videos that can be downloaded during import, they are not strictly speaking game video snaps as they are custom made, so they go into a separate theme folder.
  10. Well you learn something new every day, I had no idea that was the case.
  11. @Jason Carr I just took my 7.16 installer and installed to my desktop to check, and the default is not there, just critical zone.
  12. The default is still there as well, it comes with both.
  13. Cant you just copy paste the default then rename it?
  14. Hi and welcome to the community, I don't believe this is possible as its not Launchbox/Bigbox unlocking the achievements its the emulator. Launchbox/Bigbox do not know if a achievement has been triggered the only reason they show after the fact is that we are using the Retro Achievements api to see what has been unlocked. I don't know what emulator they you are using but I use retroarch and that gives me a message in the bottom left when I unlock a achievement.
  15. Do you mean the platform videos? If so that's in the first tab "Details" and is third from bottom.
  16. Fair enough, command line it is then.
  17. Cool glad you got it working, as I said though the installers are in the Launchbox/Updates folder so no need to re download them.
  18. Sounds like the install got corrupted somehow, go to your Launchbox/Updates folder and you will see the updates re-instal the newest one directly over the top of your current install.
  19. This is not currently a option I'm afraid, all that info is handled by the game details screen. The way I have mine setup is I have the game details screen switched off in the options but have set it to the select button on my controller, so I can open that screen if I need to but by default the game is just launched when I select it.
  20. Supermodel is command line only there is no gui for it, here is there wiki page with installation and configuration help.
  21. Also in your second image above where it says hide menu bar is escape you should be able to click that with your mouse to check it, then close the emu and it should go fullscreen when you re-open it.
  22. I cant seem to find any info on that, but its quite a old controller in the style of a playstation controller so I wouldn't be surprised if it was dinput rather than xinput. Dinput does work in retroarch though, but of course they can not officially support every cheap 3rd party controller out there as there would be thousands of them. You say in your op that you also have a xbox controller I would stick to that personally because if its a official one then it will be guaranteed to work correctly.
  23. No it doesn't "have" to be a xbox controller, most controllers should work. Xinput is recommended for full compatibility though.
