  1. Well you learn something new every day, I had no idea that was the case.
  2. @Jason Carr I just took my 7.16 installer and installed to my desktop to check, and the default is not there, just critical zone.
  3. The default is still there as well, it comes with both.
  4. Cant you just copy paste the default then rename it?
  5. Hi and welcome to the community, I don't believe this is possible as its not Launchbox/Bigbox unlocking the achievements its the emulator. Launchbox/Bigbox do not know if a achievement has been triggered the only reason they show after the fact is that we are using the Retro Achievements api to see what has been unlocked. I don't know what emulator they you are using but I use retroarch and that gives me a message in the bottom left when I unlock a achievement.
  6. Do you mean the platform videos? If so that's in the first tab "Details" and is third from bottom.
  7. Fair enough, command line it is then.
  8. Cool glad you got it working, as I said though the installers are in the Launchbox/Updates folder so no need to re download them.
  9. Sounds like the install got corrupted somehow, go to your Launchbox/Updates folder and you will see the updates re-instal the newest one directly over the top of your current install.
  10. This is not currently a option I'm afraid, all that info is handled by the game details screen. The way I have mine setup is I have the game details screen switched off in the options but have set it to the select button on my controller, so I can open that screen if I need to but by default the game is just launched when I select it.
  11. Supermodel is command line only there is no gui for it, here is there wiki page with installation and configuration help.
  12. Also in your second image above where it says hide menu bar is escape you should be able to click that with your mouse to check it, then close the emu and it should go fullscreen when you re-open it.
  13. I cant seem to find any info on that, but its quite a old controller in the style of a playstation controller so I wouldn't be surprised if it was dinput rather than xinput. Dinput does work in retroarch though, but of course they can not officially support every cheap 3rd party controller out there as there would be thousands of them. You say in your op that you also have a xbox controller I would stick to that personally because if its a official one then it will be guaranteed to work correctly.
  14. No it doesn't "have" to be a xbox controller, most controllers should work. Xinput is recommended for full compatibility though.
  15. You have to set your controls once in the main ui without a core loaded, this will be your main default controls. Then if you want to change the controls for a specific core you need to load a game for that core, then drop into the ui with F1 or the guide button on a xbox controller, then go to the "quick menu" this is the important part, not the "settings/input" menu but the "quick menu" as the options here are for the specific core you have loaded, just scroll to controls and set them how you would like, then in the same menu is a "save core remap file" this will save the controls you just changed for the specific core only and they will be auto loaded when you start that core.
  16. Yeah you can import anything into Launchbox, just drag the shortcut onto the window and follow the wizard that pops up and when it asks you what you are importing choose the "none of the above" option so that it wont try to use a emulator for it.
  17. Would have to be a real short video, like half a second?
  18. This will become more and more of a issue going forward, the program is getting better and better all the time, so is of course getting more mainstream attention, and as its a paid program, that just entices a certain demographic who's sole aim is to crack programs.
  19. Where did you get the original artwork from? A lot of people in this community are very open to the work being shared and improved apon etc, however some are not. So yeah always check with the original author first. But speaking personally I could always use more mame bezels.
  20. Welcome to the community. Looks good, are you planning to share?
  21. OK fair enough, was just a random thought I had. Is it just called startup.mp4 in the videos folder, or is it in a startup folder inside the video folder?
  22. I personally haven't seen it since the official release, not to say it isn't still there I just haven't seen it. Have you guys tried just leaving one video in the folder and seeing if it still happens, that could help to eliminate if its due to the randomness.
  23. I don't use a shield so this info is just stuff I have read on here over the months, but your shield controller should just work, but you will need to first on your pc turn on the controller support for Launchbox. Just go to tools/options/input/gamepad joystick and check the box to enable controller support, you may also need to check the use all controllers box as well.
