  1. Also the ones with the long codes are just very old updates from before they were specifically named with the version No.
  2. Yep safe to delete, I personally always keep the last stable and the last beta though just in case.
  3. lol, yep it will only download what you have highlighted, as you discovered.
  4. The problem I see with this is that plex is just simply sending the file over the network or internet or transcoding then sending the file and the plex client on the other end simply plays the incoming file, Emulation is a whole other thing in order to be able to stream a game to another PC Bigbox would have to be running on the server computer as would the actual emulator being used, and we have no real control over the emulators so if someone was to start playing a game on a client machine then the emulator would have to be running on the server side machine and would probably be fullscreen also so you could be using the server computer when all of the sudden a emulator launches and goes full screen and you can no longer use the server side system, For this to work the way you want it to all the emulator authors would have to recode there emulators in order to send the image while still being minimised on the server side system and unfortunately I don't see this happening any time. As for the steam link you can add any program on your system to steam as a "non steam game" Bigbox included obviously and stream to steam link or another system on the network using steam, however you will have the same issue as I described above the game or program would be running fullscreen on the server system and would be unusable for the local user.
  5. Click on it then use "escape" to reset it to none.
  6. I personally use controller companion which works great, it's currently 33% off on steam. http://store.steampowered.com/app/367670/Controller_Companion/
  7. If I remember correctly I just added my username and that worked fine.
  8. He he, too slow.
  9. You can just go to tools/create missing arcade/mame playlists, and the program will take care of it for you.
  10. I also have a hand in this as well, so add me to the blame list.
  11. Well the general feeling here has been actually positive to the heads up for people, if "some" community members disagreed then the larger percentage of our audience had absolutely no issues with a email pointing out this issue. You are of course entitled to your opinion, but I would guess most of our users have the opposite opinion to yourself.
  12. This is a specific twat trying to kill the whole program, that doesn't bother you???
  13. Yep, if you don't care just ignore and delete the email, its not hard I'm sure you delete tons every day, if you do care, then the email was for you.
  14. We knew the email would be devisive, but we felt it should be sent as it effects every user of the product, assuming you want it to continue to improve.
  15. I delete 10's of emails everyday, its hard work eh???
  16. I'm assuming you like the program and would like to continue using it though right?
  17. lol just me you and Jason is nearly 15000.
  18. That's cool, we are here to help if needed.
  19. OK close Launchbox, and go to Launchbox/data and delete those .xml from there. you can not delete that category, the handheld category is built in, you can make and rename others but can not remove it.
  20. OK now I'm even more confused, you are correct there is already a platform category called handhelds and that is what you should be adding those systems to. Ok You have a handhelds2 there now with all your handhelds???
  21. lol that spreadsheet is probably using more space on your PC than the whole 2600 collection though.
  22. And I say that as a person not from the USA, I'm a PAL territory person but the USA games run faster so that's what I import as primary, then I mop up other regions.
  23. Agreed but I personally just import the USA roms, then any that I know were pal exclusive. I have all the games on my drive I just don't import them to launchbox, and I purposely do not import the JAP games unless there is a really good reason to like battle gaidan tetris on snes.
