  1. You have to set your controls once in the main ui without a core loaded, this will be your main default controls. Then if you want to change the controls for a specific core you need to load a game for that core, then drop into the ui with F1 or the guide button on a xbox controller, then go to the "quick menu" this is the important part, not the "settings/input" menu but the "quick menu" as the options here are for the specific core you have loaded, just scroll to controls and set them how you would like, then in the same menu is a "save core remap file" this will save the controls you just changed for the specific core only and they will be auto loaded when you start that core.
  2. Yeah you can import anything into Launchbox, just drag the shortcut onto the window and follow the wizard that pops up and when it asks you what you are importing choose the "none of the above" option so that it wont try to use a emulator for it.
  3. Would have to be a real short video, like half a second?
  4. This will become more and more of a issue going forward, the program is getting better and better all the time, so is of course getting more mainstream attention, and as its a paid program, that just entices a certain demographic who's sole aim is to crack programs.
  5. Where did you get the original artwork from? A lot of people in this community are very open to the work being shared and improved apon etc, however some are not. So yeah always check with the original author first. But speaking personally I could always use more mame bezels.
  6. Welcome to the community. Looks good, are you planning to share?
  7. OK fair enough, was just a random thought I had. Is it just called startup.mp4 in the videos folder, or is it in a startup folder inside the video folder?
  8. I personally haven't seen it since the official release, not to say it isn't still there I just haven't seen it. Have you guys tried just leaving one video in the folder and seeing if it still happens, that could help to eliminate if its due to the randomness.
  9. I don't use a shield so this info is just stuff I have read on here over the months, but your shield controller should just work, but you will need to first on your pc turn on the controller support for Launchbox. Just go to tools/options/input/gamepad joystick and check the box to enable controller support, you may also need to check the use all controllers box as well.
  10. Yeah there is a setting in Launchbox and Bigbox to toggle showing broken games, I'm just not sure if that also works in Playlists or just the Platforms.
  11. Not sure on that one, personally if a game doesn't work I just delete it from Launchbox.
  12. Yes you can, right click one of your favourites and choose "add to playlist" then "new playlist" In the new window name the playlist you can also add a sort title here, I added 001 to the beginning of mine so that it shows first in the list but that's optional. Then check the "include playlist in platforms" box. Then move to the auto populate tab, check the box then in the first dropdown choose "Favorites" leave the rest of that line "as is" then in the second dropdown choose "Platform" leave "is equal to" and type "Arcade" into the end box, see pics attached. This will create a auto populating Favorites playlist, and whenever you add another favorited game it will be automatically added to the playlist.
  13. My mistake, it seems they are Naomi, let me set up ikaruga in my launchbox and see what I get. Give me a couple of minutes.
  14. Hmm, I'm not sure if ikaruga is a Naomi rom I think its atomiswave, have you checked the games you are trying to launch are actually Naomi games?
  15. Here is how I had mine set up when I was using it.
  16. Hmm, yeah I don't have any Naomi set up at the moment, but when I did I was using the mame files and it worked just fine.
  17. You could just create a playlist and set it to display in the platform list. So right click one of your hacked games and choose "add to playlist" then create new playlist, name it what you want and check the "include this playlist in platform lists" box
  18. Change the "N" in Naomi to a lower case "n".
  19. You should of got a discount code in the email you got with your premium license file in it. If you no longer have that email then you can email support@unbrokensoftware.com and explain your situation there.
  20. Yeah that's cool, no biggie. It's just everything else was resizing in the window but the cheevos were not. Just wasn't sure if that was intentional or not your end.
  21. Sounds like your rom path is set wrong, I would double check it in the ui to make sure you set it correctly, you have to physically go into the rom folder before you press tab to set it. Or just type the location into the ini.
  22. I would suggest creating it again in your main install just to be safe, but if your games are in the MAME/Roms folder you should be OK just to copy it across.
  23. You need to right click your MAME.exe and choose create shortcut, then right click the newly created shortcut and go to properties then in the "Target" line add the space then -cc to the end of it and click apply and then OK. Then just double click the shortcut and it will create the ini for you.
