  1. You have had plenty of help here, despite your antagonistic and combative posts, Dont like a theme that uses videos? then you need to use a different theme, we have hundreds here on the forums to download, but instead of looking for one you like, you bitch and moan and expect someone else to "know your tastes" and to tell you which one to use, that aint gonna work, and you wont be getting any more help/replies from me in any of your threads.
  2. Well i would guess in this case its the same game, just with a alternate name for a different region, so not a actual port exactly, as indicated by the database ID, not a different version of the game, but simply the same one with a different name, much like im guessing Starfox and Starwing, or Starfox 64 and Lylat wars, different regions and different names, but exactly the same games.
  3. Cant help with the specific issue, but Launchbox itself doesnt care what the file type is, so it's not a file type problem.
  4. Launchbox has nothing to do with game saves, thats a emulator job.
  5. WE cant help if your roms are badly named. All extra info like region, version, revision etc should be in parenthesis So "F-Zero (USA) (REV 3)" that takes the name and ignores the rest for matching the rom. We do use some fuzzy matching at import, but not much so that you do not have a ton of games imported with the wrong name.
  6. Should do that automatically, have you checked that game in our database to see if we actually have a Japanese box for it, and if it's region is correctly tagged?
  7. It makes ZERO difference what set you use, and as stated only the MAME emulator cares about the CHD's. Try loading Killer Instinct, does it work? If so everything is working fine. You do keep asking for help recently, but seem to be ignoring the answers and repeating the issue you think you have, maybe actually test the things that are suggested to you first? It has more zips, but it does not have more games, and this is why that set is larger, it has many repeated files that you dont need repeated.
  8. It is how long the splash will show for, that is why you were advised that it needs adjusting for your specific system and emulator as the timing is different on all systems. The emulator WILL be loading in the background, but the splash will stay on screen for as long as you set it (default is 5 seconds, which should be enough for most emulators).
  9. Yup, that was it. Without emumovie creds the window fully populates in about 2 seconds. With emumovies creds the same list took 3 minutes to populate.
  10. That window seems to be somewhat broken, it is slowly populating one platform at a time, like 1 platform appearing in the list like every ten seconds, and windows thinks LB is hanging.
  11. That is a video, you need to download them from Launchbox or the forums.
  12. Nope. Ok, that is not missing images at all, a fulscreen video goes there, and you dont have one for CDI or C64, you can download platform videos from within Launchbox, or from the forums, here
  13. Unified Refried isnt even available to download in Bigbox, it's on the forums only, so i'm not sure how you are using the "manage theme" option to install it.
  14. You are changing the platform name on a game to a platform that does not exist, you cant do that and still expect to scrape metadata and images.
  15. As has already been stated to you, you change the "scrape as" NOT the actual platform name. There is no such platform as "2000 - Sony Playstation 2" so no metadata or media is found, this is as expected and working as designed. You CAN rename the platform, but you HAVE to then set the "scrape as" to the correct platform otherwise you will find no metadata or images as the platform you have never existed.
  16. Maybe you should explain your issue a bit better, as well as provide some images, your previous post is rather vague. Themes downloaded from within Bigbox include the images a theme will use.
  17. You need to map in the emulators, the setting in Launchbox is just for controlling Launchbox.
  18. Well first step, only keep roms in your roms folder. Launchbox will import what you tell it to, so if you just point it at a folder with other files in it you will get other files imported. Looks like someone is trying to use files from a unrelated frontend like Batocera in Launchbox, and expecting it to work the same way, it doesnt. Videos must be named the same as the rom (so not have "video" in the file name), and they go in Launchbox/Videos/Name of platform.
  19. It's not available on the play store, only directly through us, more info here. Download LaunchBox for Android (launchbox-app.com) and to use it with more than 100 games you can by the premium license from here. LaunchBox for Android - Purchase a License (launchbox-app.com)
  20. Uncheck game background videos in Bigbox.
  21. Yes, you are using the current emulator, with a 22 year old romset, you couldnt really do MAME more wrong than that, it's nearly as far apart between emu and roms that you can physically get.
  22. Just delete the platform but keep the media, then re-import the correct way as Lordmonkus stated, and when you get to the media download page of the import wizard uncheck it all.
  23. Check Tools/Options/game details and make sure videos are checked. Also in the main view use the "View" dropdown and make sure auto play videos is checked.
