  1. Hi, if I understand correctly what you are asking? (and I could be wrong) You want Video themes at the platform category level, but then just platform and game backgrounds below that? Is that right? If so I don't think that this is possible on any current theme. I'm gonna tag @CriticalCid on this, he will have far more info than I ever could.
  2. I think it maybe something that never occurred to Jason to change, but you may be right, attract mode may be stuck in the platform category it starts in and doesn't know there is now a layer above it. Maybe his Lordship @Jason Carr can confirm if this was overlooked or working as intended.
  3. Its platform categories that is needed there as well though right? Switch between Platform categories/Platforms/Filters?
  4. Lol, that's a good catch, must of been updated/edited at some point.
  5. Also to point 1. That is very dependent on your bigbox startup time, there is a option in settings to tell bigbox to delay launching for anywhere between 0-30 seconds if you are using a startup video, you will just have to test what works for you as every pc has a different startup time. Oh and point 2. You can go to options/image cache and force image caching, you will have to wait for it to complete, but should eradicate that grey box issue.
  6. Just to chime in here I have used mupen retroarch on a much lower specced tablet than that, and it works fine at the native n64 resolution. Its even passable on most games at 720p. You may just need to dive into the settings and tweak it.
  7. Also you can check out this tutorial @SentaiBrad made. Any issues just shout me a question and ill try to help best I can.
  8. How are you trying to use it? All you need to do is go to options/views highlight the one that says default and hit enter or A on the gamepad to switch to the other theme.
  9. Actually that dialog box was helpful to me, as I could see it was calling the correct emulator and rom from the correct locations. Just wont launch them.
  10. Yes I have a emulators folder in the launchbox folder which is on my C:\\ drive , but my roms are on a usb hard drive G:\\ as you can see above. Thanks for all your help with this.
  11. Yes you can turn that game details screen off in the options.
  12. Ok, obvious question first have you downloaded any other themes, and unzipped them into the theme folder?
  13. Yeah its the opposite for me, it used to run for hours no problem, but recently crashes relatively quickly sometimes with a bigbox has crashed windows message sometimes just a frozen bigbox with no error. I'm not sure when it started happening as I only noticed it a couple of days ago.
  14. Sorry, these are just bezels I found online. I don't know how to use software like that unfortunately. Maybe someone else on here can help you there.
  15. Oh OK. Ignore then, if its working leave it as is.
  16. How about this? I can zip it if you like.
  17. I cant say I have seen that, but it may be that recently when I leave attract mode running and come back to it later launchbox has crashed. So it hasn't run long enough for me to check.
  18. Oh really? Well in that case you can probably move the games back into launchbox, and just point epcsxe at the psx game folder in launchbox rather than where it is now. Although thinking about it if its working may be best to just leave it as is for now.
  19. OK cool, no worries. Yeah as I said a moderator needs to approve 1st which may take a day or two depending on how busy the mods are and how many games are queued for approval. Once approved your local metadata needs to be updated to match the current database metadata, that is done daily on the server but I don't know what time as the servers are USA based, once the server metadata is updated you need to force refresh your local metadata to pull in the new metadata. Yeah ask away if you have any other issues.
  20. Unfortunately I still have the same issue, however I do get a extra dialogue now showing emulator and rom path, I then click OK and get the error again. Attaching screenshots if it helps you.
  21. I don't think I have any spaces in my emulator paths, here is a shot of my launchbox emulators screen if it is any help to you.
  22. Excellent, you had posted this in another thread before but it never worked for me. However I only had the MouseMove, 1920, 1200 in there now I have added the #NoEnv to it and it works perfectly. Thanks very much.
