  1. Cool, glad it all working now, yeah the theme name folder should just be the name of the theme. You had the theme folder hidden in another folder, any theme you want to use should work fine for you now. So enjoy bigbox and its many many themes, I'm out!!
  2. Of course it is What do I care, crack or carry on.
  3. OK that was possibly user error depending on what you use to unzip your files, if using 7zip, which I recommend you right click and unzip here, then cut/copy and paste into the themes folder.
  4. Lol, just noticed the blatant plug for your theme!! Good work fella!!
  5. Right your theme name should not look like that at all, I'm going to attach 2 pics to demonstrate.
  6. Lol cheers @Maddoc1007 but that was my second question? see above.
  7. So, did you watch that video I posted above? and follow the steps?
  8. OK, calm down you will not have to reinstall your whole setup. Your setup works right? no issues there, and the fact that bigbox works at all means that themes are working. So its a different issue.
  9. Hi, if I understand correctly what you are asking? (and I could be wrong) You want Video themes at the platform category level, but then just platform and game backgrounds below that? Is that right? If so I don't think that this is possible on any current theme. I'm gonna tag @CriticalCid on this, he will have far more info than I ever could.
  10. I think it maybe something that never occurred to Jason to change, but you may be right, attract mode may be stuck in the platform category it starts in and doesn't know there is now a layer above it. Maybe his Lordship @Jason Carr can confirm if this was overlooked or working as intended.
  11. Its platform categories that is needed there as well though right? Switch between Platform categories/Platforms/Filters?
  12. Lol, that's a good catch, must of been updated/edited at some point.
  13. Also to point 1. That is very dependent on your bigbox startup time, there is a option in settings to tell bigbox to delay launching for anywhere between 0-30 seconds if you are using a startup video, you will just have to test what works for you as every pc has a different startup time. Oh and point 2. You can go to options/image cache and force image caching, you will have to wait for it to complete, but should eradicate that grey box issue.
  14. Just to chime in here I have used mupen retroarch on a much lower specced tablet than that, and it works fine at the native n64 resolution. Its even passable on most games at 720p. You may just need to dive into the settings and tweak it.
  15. Also you can check out this tutorial @SentaiBrad made. Any issues just shout me a question and ill try to help best I can.
  16. How are you trying to use it? All you need to do is go to options/views highlight the one that says default and hit enter or A on the gamepad to switch to the other theme.
  17. Actually that dialog box was helpful to me, as I could see it was calling the correct emulator and rom from the correct locations. Just wont launch them.
  18. Yes I have a emulators folder in the launchbox folder which is on my C:\\ drive , but my roms are on a usb hard drive G:\\ as you can see above. Thanks for all your help with this.
  19. Yes you can turn that game details screen off in the options.
  20. Ok, obvious question first have you downloaded any other themes, and unzipped them into the theme folder?
  21. Yeah its the opposite for me, it used to run for hours no problem, but recently crashes relatively quickly sometimes with a bigbox has crashed windows message sometimes just a frozen bigbox with no error. I'm not sure when it started happening as I only noticed it a couple of days ago.
  22. Sorry, these are just bezels I found online. I don't know how to use software like that unfortunately. Maybe someone else on here can help you there.
  23. Oh OK. Ignore then, if its working leave it as is.
