  1. You can just re-install directly over the top of your current install, be sure to choose the directory above Launchbox in the installer, otherwise you will install a new Launchbox to Launchbox/Launchbox.
  2. I use a password manager with a long and complicated password, i also have 2 factor on, so they would need to crack a very complicated password, and have my phone on them when/if they crack the password, so highly unlikely. I learnt my lesson when i lost my PSN account, i already had 2 factor on for a lot of stuff, but i then went around changing my passwords and activating 2 factor wherever i could if it wasnt already.
  3. Id rather Epic did that then it be easy for a bot/hacker to gain access to my account. I lost my Playstation account a few months ago when someone got into it, and activated 2 factor to lock me out, my own fault for not having 2 factor on, but it just goes to show what can happen. I had had that account since the launch of the PS3 in what 2006? Luckily i only had 3 or 4 digital purchases on the account. Also i should add, i use my Google account to log into my Epic account, that doesnt do the captcha stuff, i have 2 factor on for my google, so i approve the notification on my phone, no captcha needed.
  4. No, this would lead to garbage data and images being uploaded if all users do is hit a button, there is no self editing there, just a bunch of stuff being uploaded at once and overwhelm the moderators. The database is completely community submitted and moderated and we dont want to make those people walk away because everyday there are thousands of new submissions to look through, 90% of which are probably already in the database as the user who pressed the "upload media" button got most of their images from the database in the first place, thats a waste of everybody's time.
  5. I have never used a mouse in Bigbox, but i just turned it on to check, and it doesnt work for me either. Ive reported it to the devs. For the time being you can just use your keyboard.
  6. That doesnt make any sense at all, if you dont choose a emulator they wont launch. What format are your DS roms in?
  7. Working just fine here clicking your two links above. Id suggest clearing your browser cache and perhaps deleting cookies and logging back in, as both those links work perfectly fine here.
  8. It IS off by default. I'm not sure what happened here but that option is off, if the Emulator entry is just called "Retroarch" then Launchbox knows the correct settings and applies them, it does not check that don't use quotes box, so that is completely unrelated to you updating the program. The problem there is how do we know if a emulator has launched correctly or not (short answer, we don't) we cant create logs for another program like that, they have there own logging and we would have to code Launchbox to somehow understand the logging of every different emulator out there, and thats just not going to happen, it's a lot of work which honestly, is completely unneeded. Of course, and Launchbox has logging itself, but we cant really be expected to log other programs that are not created by us, especially as in this case the other program wasn't even launching, so there is no log from the actual program, so how is Launchbox supposed to get a log if the program launched doesnt even create one? That's just not feasible.
  9. If you go to there website there is a big red banner at the top of the page saying they have been doing a major site update, and to expect issues. FYI Emumovies is not run by us, so your first port of call for issues is their forums.
  10. Are you using a view that supports clear logos, or are you using the text list view? You just need to switch the view, if using text list view. If you are using a view that supports clear logos and they are not showing, try refreshing the image cache in the options.
  11. There should be a option for it in the music options.
  12. Your controls are in the cfg folder, and default is just that the default you set in MAME, any "this machine" controls will be saved in that same folder under the name of the rom rather than default. The thing you have to remember about MAME is that if you start it without a controller on/connected, it wipes the MAME default.cfg. So create your controls and close MAME, then go to the default.cfg, right click it and go to properties, and check the box for read only. This will mean MAME cant wipe it, but if you need to change anything you will need to uncheck read only, make your changes and then re-enable it.
  13. Anybody reading this, please dont follow that advice. Just replace the file specified, if you delete everything you will completely wipe your Launchbox and will need to start from scratch.
  14. This is likely your issue, you shouldnt be downloading random MAME roms from the internet. Do you know which romset version the roms you downloaded are from? This is important as MAME roms and the emulator are versioned, games are only guaranteed to work with the matching version. They may work with other versions of the emulator, but its a lottery at that point. You cant just download the newest version of the MAME emulator and throw any rom at it and have it work, if any file inside the game zip is not what MAME expects for that version from its own internal database, the game wont run.
  15. You dont want the - or + on the wheel.

    Ryujinx quit

You should never run Launchbox as admin, emulators either, elevation is only required BECAUSE of admin rights.
  17. Im not set to combined either, but if i set them to normal or + in Ridge Racer then the throttle and brake are constantly on, it only works correctly when set to -. Cruis'n USA seems to be the opposite, set to - and both pedals are full on, set to + they work as expected. We do have different wheels though, so it could just be down to different implementations, i dont know.
  18. For the pedals in MAME you have to set them two times each, at least i have had to with the game. For example hit enter on pedal1 then press the gas and it will show that pedal set, then hit enter again and press gas again, it will now add a + after the name, (this will vary by game, Ridge Racer for example needs them to be on - not + so you have to set them three times in that case). You dont really need to do anything in ghub other than adjust the wheel range down from 900 to something more comfortable, somewhere between Koroths suggestion of 270 and 360 would be about right in my opinion. I just setup a ghub profile for MAME and changed that there, so it auto locks to 270 when i load MAME now. Id suggest going to your mame/cfg folder and deleting the one for this game and starting it from fresh, it should just be as simple as selecting paddle and turning the wheel, then pedal 1 and 2, which you do twice each to get the + after the input name.
  19. Ha ha, are you reading my mind, i was just looking for deadzone settings as its a massive window, so cheers for that.
  20. Yeah thats exactly what i was about to do in the ghub software, i just tried Ridge Racer, and that also didnt start turning until over 90 degrees.
  21. Literally all i did was hit enter on paddle, pedal1, and pedal2, just span the wheel left, and pressed both the accelerator and brake pedals (i also set coin and start buttons, but thats not relevant here).
  22. Ok i got the pedals working with no effort at all, i calibrated them first and now i can just select the pedals in the controller options and press them to assign and they just work. The steering on the other hand is awful, wont turn either way until i get to 90 degrees, and then it seems to go to full lock, completely unsteerable.
  23. Yeah i worked it out from a YT video, i needed to calibrate, and "enter" was F2, so im in, just copying your controls to test.
