This is not currently possible in the Android version.

We'd love to make this happen, but after investing a bunch of time into this emulator, there were a number of key factors that would stop this from happening. Cult lists out some of them in his post. We'll definitely try again if anything significant happens with this emulator that could potentially solve them. If anyone knows a dev there, we'd love to talk to them to see if something can be done. Thanks for the feedback. Going back directly to LaunchBox usually requires the emulator itself to have some kind of exit hotkey or exit option. I haven't checked yuzu specifically, so you'd have to dig around their settings and see if they have one. Thanks for the feedback. We will definitely look into some of this for future updates. We'd love to better support custom emulators and allow users more freedom with setting them up. For RetroArch in-particular, we'd just simply love to provide users a way to type in or somehow choose their own core that we may not have gotten around to adding yet. Good news about Citra, we have that on our list to take a look at.

View File Colorful Flex Colorful Flex is based on viking's Colorful v3 concepts. It is a light version of what will eventually become the next version of the Colorful Big Box theme. It is heavily based on his platform hardware image set. This theme is best downloaded within LaunchBox for Android, through the Manage Themes section of the app. This post is mainly for support purposes only. Available Views: 1 Filters view is available 2 Game views are available, 1 supports videos while the other does not Requirements: It requires Android 1.10 or above due to its reliance on the Animation engine and custom image control included with this version. While touch screen controls do work, it is highly recommended to only use this theme with a controller This theme will adjust to different aspect ratios and orientations, but was mainly developed using a landscape widescreen device Credits: Thanks viking for his concept images Submitter faeran Submitted 10/27/2023 Category Custom Themes

You can switch them, but only one at a time. Holding down on one of the platforms to open its menu and choose Edit Media and replace the Banner Image. Make sure the banner is the same size, I think they are 384x1080 if I remember correctly.

Easy noob way and help deleting memes from directory
faeran replied to CapeManCoral's topic in Android
If you want to start again, then in the filters view, press down on the Sega Genesis platform until the menu appears, and choose to delete. -
Noob- imports lots of mames I don't have (or want)
faeran replied to CapeManCoral's topic in Android
My first thought is that you may have left the This is a Full MAME Set option checked during your import. Delete the platform and try again, making sure to keep it unchecked and see how it goes. -
We are closing out this extremely long beta thread and are moving to one beta thread for each release. The beta thread for version 1.10 can be found here:

I'm starting a new beta thread for the latest LaunchBox for Android beta, and will handle beta release threads like this moving forward, matching what we do with our Windows beta threads. This post is reserved for anyone willing to help us with LaunchBox for Android 1.10 beta releases. You can opt into the beta releases in the app by going into Options and enabling the Update to Beta Releases option. Then restart the app and follow the steps. Beta 1 contains the following changes: LaunchBox now remembers the last filter or platform you've used and selects it by default just like on the desktop; this works for all filter levels and platform categories (with an option available to disable) A new option to whitelist file extensions has been added to the import process Star ratings can now be set via the game menu Added the following new emulators: Yuzu, Flycast Improved the launching of the Yaba Sanshiro 2 and Yaba Sanshiro 2 Pro emulators The theming engine has seen major improvements including a brand new animation engine, a new image control, and a host of new fixes and improvements; the LaunchBox\Themes\Documentation.pdf file has been updated, but in order to see it, first delete your current file then restart the app to have it replenish with the new version (you will not need to do this after the official release). 10 custom themes by Faeran have been created or updated to take advantage of the new theme options (All but 1 have been released and are available in the app) Improved performance across all views Fixed a rare crash that could occur during imports and media downloads Thanks to all who are willing to help us test our betas.

This theme was inspired by the Big Box theme of the same name. It is a lightweight version of the theme that utilizes the same style. The original was a stylish, background heavy focused theme with inspiration from the unreleased Aura 4k theme by iGarikoitz. There are many differences between the two themes, some are added benefits while others were compromises that needed to be made to make it work on the multitude of Android devices. This theme only contains one filters view at the moment. No game views are included and have not been designed up to this point. This theme is best downloaded within LaunchBox for Android, through the Manage Themes section of the app. This post is mainly for support purposes only. Available Views: 1 Filters view is available Requirements: It requires Android 1.10 or above due to its reliance on the Animation engine and custom image control included with this version While touch screen controls do work, it is highly recommended to only use this theme with a controller It is recommended to only use this theme in Landscape orientation, but a multitude of different aspect ratios can be used Credits: Thanks to iGarokoitz for design inspiration Thanks to Dan Patrick and his wonderful white clear logo set and controller set -

View File Lucent Lucent is a modern take on an Android theme and heavily uses custom images to achieve its light and airy flow. By default, LaunchBox does combine discs into the same game entry, allowing you to then select which disc to load up. If you want them separate, then during the import process you'll want to uncheck the "combine games" option that you'll see on one of the later pages. You'll also want to make sure that disc 2 isn't already imported and associated with your main game by editing the game and checking your additional apps section.
-
One thing you can do is simply delete the games that you don't own. The system is designed to not re-import them again automatically once deleted.

Things are progressing well. With any new person there's always a bit of an adjustment as they get up to speed, but things have definitely progressed nicely. We will have something, at least in beta form sometime soon. We are hopeful for this week.

Retroarch imported, but SNES does not work on front end.
faeran replied to Rob J Nathan's topic in Noobs
You posted two screenshots of your Edit Emulator - Details page. One is showing an application path filed in, and the other is showing it missing. You need an application path, so definitely make sure it's there. -
I assume you'd have to go game by game, but just checking the first game in your image "Go Go Ackman" it does look like the LaunchBox Games Database has fan made 3D box images for NA sized boxes: Should be easy enough to edit the game, go to the images section and download available 3d box images and see what you can get. You can also search directly on the website, which is what I did to find this: https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/games/images/3459-go-go-ackman
-
Are you asking to replace the vertical space on the NA boxes with horizontal space between the Japanese boxes? Or, are you wanting to completely replace the Japanese boxes with fan made reimagining's of how they would look if they were horizontal boxes?

Essentially, what C-Beats is referring to is the thing you are referring to as a "pic" is really an actual 3D Model based on Box - Front, Box - Back, and Box - Spine images. What you are wanting is a 3D Box image, which I'm guessing you currently don't have for that game. A quick search, and it looks like there is no 3D Box image for that game on the Games Database. I'm thinking that game was excluded because it's a ROM hack, but that's just a guess. Looks like the set you are using is this one: WallyWonka was nice enough to include the template for it, so you could potentially create your own.

The way SelectedScale works is that "1.0,1.0" means X value is 100%, and Y value is 100%. I forgot that SelectedOffset is actually "x,y,z", and I would adjust things by decimal points until you understand what each one can do. With the code you keep posting, you are probably seeing odd results because you are trying to combine the legacy wheel properties with the new wheel properties. Instead, a good starting point is the default theme. Here's the example from one of the platform vertical wheels from the default theme, but I do recommend just diving into the default theme files, and use that as a resource, along with the documentation.pdf: <coverFlow:FlowControl x:Name="FlowControl" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch" VerticalAlignment="Stretch" SelectedOffset="0,0,1" CurveAmount="0" CameraZPosition="3.0" PageSize="8" Columns="1" Endless="True" SelectedScale="1.4,1.4" ItemSpacing="0,-0.8" SelectedItemSpacing="0,-0.6">

Check for SelectedScale and SelectedOffsetProperty in the doc, using them in the same spot as the ItemSpacing. SelectedScale is what you are looking for, while SelectedOffsetProperty would then allow you to position that item to where you want it to be (if you want to move it from center). Something like <coverFlow:FlowControl SelectedScale="x,y" SelectedOffsetProperty="x,y" />
