  1. Any chance you have the background fade slider all the way up in your settings? If so adjust it. iexplorer.exe should not be required per Jason.
  2. You should not have to do anything as long as you unzip the theme in the correct folder. Make sure the subfolders are not altered as the theme looks for the images to be in an exact specified location. In the pic pay attention only to the folders. I am modifying the theme so xaml files may look different in the pic than what is currently in the download. Theme should be located in \Launchbox\StartupThemes The Framed Platform folder should have subfolders like below. If the subfolders are altered the theme will not locate the images.
  3. In Launchbox go to Tools>Manage emulators and edit your Pinball FX3 set-up. In the main window make sure you have the box for "No Space Before Rom (primarily for NullDC)" checked. In the steps above all 3 boxes are checked, but I think you only need the one I mentioned and the "Use file name" one. The steps in the original post work for the non-Steam version as well. Just add the PinballFX3.exe instead of Steam in your emulator set-up. Launching direclty into a table requires the "Cabinet" code from Zen Studios.
  4. What if you choose one game, right click and edit that game and change the rom path from there. Does it stick?
  5. email: support@unbrokensoftware.com let them know and you should get a response on the discount.
  6. It would be at the bottom of the email that was sent with your license.
  7. Can you let us know how you are going about changing the path? What steps are you taking?
  8. Yes, if it works definitely do not change. See my prior post though as I mentioned I misunderstood your initial comment. I posted the change I have in the way my setup is that keeps the black screen from showing up.
  9. @Roverius My bad you mentioned the hide window from the emulator tab. Yeah that way would only work with how you mentioned you did your setup. I don't know why I was only thinking the Startup options. The way I mentioned works if I set the Startup Load Delay to 1 second. The blank screen does not appear and the game launches fine.
  10. You can do the same with the method I mentioned. The last tab in the edit game screen allows you to set Startups for games that you may launch without an emulator. Just an alternate way to get the same result.
  11. You do not actually need to do the emulator step as long as your .bat file has the correct command to run the game. Just point Launchbox to the .bat file as the game. When you leave the emulator unchecked LB will ask you to assign one. You can just choose not to and close it out.
  12. You can. It will just install a beta like any stable build right on top of your existing build. In Tools/Options you will see the updates options. Choose the betas there. You can tick it for the current beta that is out. Then untick it if you do not want to try any other betas. Keep in mind there could be minor glitches, but Jason usually has these fixed quickly.
  13. OK, then the option I am seeing is beta only right now then. I am running betas on my setups now.
  14. @Wulfgar Ok, then the setting may be something only available in the betas. Are you running a stable release?
  15. If your Favorites playlist is set up to auto-populate with any games you mark as "Favorite" there is an option in BigBox, I believe under Security, to allow favoriting a game. Through this method you can accomplish what you want.
  16. Should not take much to get it running. Unless you have bad roms. If your roms are zipped like @proghodet asked check to see the files it says are missing are contained. Really just as simple as pointing to the rom directory. It should work without quotes for the rom location. Did you try other games and get the same errors?
  17. You can delete the xml from the folder directory, however Launchbox must be closed first.
  18. @y2guru Be mindful of @neil9000 he is pretty good at breaking betas. ?
  19. @y2guru Watched this last night and have to say this is impressive. Looking forward to a release and put me on a list if you ever decide to do a beta test.
  20. Videos have to be downloaded. In Launchbox go to Tools>Download Platform and Playlist Theme Media. Clear Logos if you do not have them for systems can be downloaded from the forum in the downloads sections. There are various styles for you to choose from.
  21. Just to be clear, Refried is the theme. Refried has several “views” you can choose from in it. The pic you shared is a full screen video view. You can change it to look like this pic. Both are the Refried theme. You need to map a button to “Switch View” also. Not just “Switch Theme”
  22. Have you mapped a button to be able to change views? Themes have multiple views. In BigBox in option use either keyboard or controller section to map a key/button to be able to change themes as well as change views in themes. Looks like you have Refried theme showing full screen videos in platfrom view.
  23. Make sure you are not accidentally running BigBox as admin. Also, If you are using something like MameUI or Arcade64 make sure your Mame.Ini is located in the root folder of your Mame where the Mame exe is. If it is not there look in the Ini folder for it and place it in the root folder. Although this may not be an issue as that usually affects both LaunchBox and BigBox.
  24. You should be able to get the look you want adjusting box spacing settings in this area of the Launchbox options.
  25. Since you are starting from scratch once you get everything downloaded first set up the emulator and the roms and test that everything is working outside of Launchbox. This way when you go to import if it does not work we know it is an issue with your setup in Launchbox and not your emulator setup. If it does not work share pics like the ones Monkus posted.
