  1. Yes, you could change that to read "{Binding Path=ActiveGame.Publisher}" then it would simply only return data from the Publisher field. You would likely need to do that for each view that you would use in the theme. This is based solely on my limited knowledge of coding messing around with startup themes.
  2. Not automatically. You would have to edit the theme. It could probably be coded for a fallback to Developer if the Publisher field was empty. That would require you being able to code the change or the theme developer willing to do it for you.
  3. Sorry you feel that way. Honestly I do not get it. This forum is full of members, mods, and the developer all working together. Not sure why you think the program should do everything for you, even fix user created additions. For a single person developing you are asking a lot. It is not unusual for a developer to update their software and have third party apps break. Seen it plenty of times with Microsoft, Android, iOS, and yes even Raspberry Pi get an update and the user created themes had to be fixed by the creator. You came and advised something was not working. You were given advice on a simple step to fix. That seems pretty helpful and like people cared. Good luck to you as well and Cheers.
  4. He did not say you had to troubleshoot he just said you have to download the user created theme that was updated to work with the new version of BigBox. You posted a link to the theme from the creator and then say "Looks like everyone using this theme is broken too" and you did not even bother to read the thread you linked to see the creator of that theme fixed it. All you had to do was read it to know to download the update and you would be back up and running fine.
  5. Are you using "ESC" key in both Launchbox and BigBox? Just want to clarify as your first posts makes is sound like you are not.

    MAME crashing

That probably was the issue. I had something similar with a 3 monitor setup.
  7. Added a second version of the theme: GridBlocked_Slow This version has a slower spinning disc for anyone who may prefer it. Just download BridBlocked_Slow.zip and extract alongside your other startup themes.

    MAME crashing

From the night that it worked until the night that it crashed were there any system updates you installed or even Launchbox updates. I think @neil9000 was mainly saying to be safe it is best to use Romset that matches the Mame version. I usually stay within a 1-2 number range. We will typically recommend matching just to be sure we can eliminate a variable when trouble shooting.

    MAME crashing

We would have to know what is going on exactly to try and help. There can be any number of reasons why depending on what is or is not happening. Let's start with the same question I asked the first member...Is mame working outside of Launchbox? In other words can you run a game directly in Mame?
  10. You could try a rename tool. A couple that have been mentioned here before are: BatchRenameFiles Tool and Bulk Rename Utility
  11. It is likely the numbers in front of the game name throwing it issues. Notice the two games that have images do not have the numbers in front of the name.
  12. I meant what your Launchbox screen looks like showing no background image.
  13. Can you post a pic of what it is looking like?
  14. Ok, I tested and it is not working for me either. We are checking with Jason to see if some of the changes to BigBox theming could have affected this. Edit: I able was able to get it to work as it should. not sure why the first time it did not work. But I deleted the images and copied in a new set of images and it worked fine.
  15. 1. The file name should not be jpg.01 it should be -01.jpg. So it would look like Background-01.jpg 2. In Launchbox go to Tolls>Options> then Under Images look for Default Background and make sure you do no have the background fade slid all the way up.
  16. Refresh the image cache in the BigBox settings.
  17. @circo to the rescue! Thanks for such a quick fix.
  18. LOL and I just now starting posting in the discord. I got up way too early this Saturday.
  19. Wow. Definitely something up. Just tested one of the games from your screenshot and it brings the DS box from emumovies. Just checked their FTP and I see the zips for box images. Downloaded the 3D box files and they are all there. Something is not linking correctly.
  20. Pretty weird. I only use LB DB and Emumovies. I know I have not set-up GBA in a while so wonder is maybe images got removed from Emumovies. I did run a test on King of Fighters EX and it pulled images from both LB and Emumovies.
  21. Looks good on my end. I have 151 games loaded all have 2D and 3D box art and all have at least 2 screen images.
  22. Should be plenty. Just looked and all my GBA games have 2D and 3D box art as well as anywhere from 2-5 screenshots of various types. Should be able to get them unless you have some funky named roms and Launchbox or Emumovies if you use it cannot match the rom name to a game.
  23. Just tested a download and no issue accessing Emumovies.
  24. Pretty much doing the same. Having separate platforms. Category of "Hacks and Fan-made" then list separated platforms for SNES Hacks, Genesis Hacks, and so on. Like @damageinc86
  25. Have you downloaded the new update I just put out? I had it tested by another mod and it is working for him.
