  1. The No Nag will only suppress the Rom Warning window when you run a rom that has known issues, To check this run a game and on startup does a window show up like for example the following If so, then you have something configured wrong, to check further if you press TAB with a game loaded. If this line 'Warning Information' is NOT there then No Nag will have done nothing, as it will only suppress Warnings and the Initializing txt. The no nag is working fine, its tested fully before release and if i made a mistake it would be picked up on the day i release it, this release is at the end of its cycle, and a new version should be out on Wednesday the 29th.
  2. Scroll up just a little in this thread you will see i already gave instructions on how to no nag for yourself, its pretty easy to do.

  7. In case people were wondering, Mame 0.252 has been delayed until the last Wednesday of February. https://www.mamedev.org/?p=521
  8. I should of added, the only section of mamedev you want is the Downloads, just grab the latest mysys msys64-2022-01-12.exe then close the page, you will not do any of the other stuff.
  9. @gavatron I have posted before how to edit the source and compile mame. It takes time, about an hour to do, remember any mistakes you make may not show up in the compile untill very near the end so you just waste even more time (ask me how i know). So take your time. Additionally, the code base changes and as such the diff files will not match versions. NOTE: use the line numbers as a guide, as the source changes the lines move, and if there is no major change to the source then there will be no diff file for the new version.

  11. I sent you a PM.
  12. As i said before thats not a new game its just an additional set of PCM's, Its still just A Link to the Past. As for Turrican 4, again its a Hack of Rendering Rander R1, which is already an MSU-1 title. Just to show why doing sub versions just for music packs is pretty silly, heres just my Link to Past MSU-1 set Just imagine if i did a cover for every version, and this is only one of 194 MSU-1 titles, and most games have multiple PCM packs.
  13. Real quicky and dirty covers for these two, Robot wars doesn't have much good cover art covering the early games in the series,
  14. Go for it! Goemon: The Rescue of Princess Yuki - this is The Legend of the Mystical Ninja, Cover was posted Hyper Metroid - Hack i dont have hacks as such. Ihatov Monogatari - Cover was posted Justice League Task Force - Cover was posted Legend of Zelda, The: A Link to the Past Deluxe - This is just Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past, the deluxe is just the soundtrack. Legend of Zelda, The: AVGN vs Ganon - Again a hack, i think i posted it to my google drive, but i never posted it here. Legend of Zelda, The: Lyra Islands - Hack not covered. Lufia & the Fortress of Doom - Cover was posted Magic Sword - Cover was posted Mega Man 4 - Cover was posted Milk Utopia - Hack of Link to the past NBA Jam 2K21: Tournament Edition - Cover was posted NBA Jam: Old-School Edition - Hack Pocky & Rocky - Cover was posted Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon: Another Story - New game as such, i have added to my collection yet. Spiderman - Cover was posted, this is the Animated Series Super Genjin 2 - Cover was posted Super SpongeBob Kart - Hack of Mario Kart, but a Cover was posted The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Redux - Hack Turrican 4 - Cover was posted Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 Deluxe - Hack Yoshi's Strange Quest - Hack Zelda II: The Adventure of Link - Hack of the nes game to snes Zombies Ate My Neighbors - Cover was posted Most of them have been done and posted, check the google drives, Hacks i very rarely cover as im just not interested in them and the ones i do have, the covers were made and posted. Other than the hacks i have all the msu-1 titles and there are only a handful that were never posted. Additional: Covering hacks as seperate games is never a good idea, there is a distinct lack of art/assets for the hack, i personally just run my hacks under the original game as an additional app, as all the hacked msu-1 titles are derrived from msu-1 hacks for the games original title, and as such under the MSU-1 secition i have all my hacks are hidden as additional apps.
  15. Then its clearly not the no-nag's fault, it can not differentiate between games, its either on or off. The fault is your end and your end alone, it has nothing to do with the no nag's released here. I would ask you not to mention other sites with nags as a fair few just steal the nag from here and repost it. Also the site you mentioned has MameUI 0.250, funnily enought the project died @ 0.248 and is no longer maintained.
  16. 1941 is emulated 100% so its not a nag screen. I checked all version of the rom and no roms require a nag to be supressed.
  17. I agree with this, it's not a feature i would ever use, and would prefer to just have it how it was without breaking anything.

  19. Use Powerpoint + Handbrake to make em. Heres a guide to get you going. Heres a real quick one i did with it, by just using images from the net, and i used obs in LB to grab the intro... I spent less than 15mins on it, and a lot of that was grabbing the media. Use handbrake to run over the exported powerpoint video to reduce its size. I wouldn't use this one though as it is rough, but its purpose was to show its not that difficuly to create Theme videos, you can also get the media from the Hyperspin themes and make them look identical.
