  1. I was able to get all/most of the games using the MAME Full Set Importer... I chose to include non-working games and that did the trick... that also seem to add a lot of crap as well like system devices that I had to manually remove myself. I was using MAME .201
  2. Thanks, gonna give it another go. without that option checked.
  3. The Full-Set Importer does not include those games, alright got it.
  4. I just updated to the 9.0 Beta, and after updating the playlist I noticed a lot of Sega games missing. I have a complete set of MAME .201 I Re-ran the importer and I'm missing; Daphne - seems to be missing about two-thirds of games. Sega Naomi - all but 3 games Sega Model 3 - No Games Sega Hikaru - No Games Sammy Atomiswave - No Games Do these import when you choose Arcade import or do they need to be imported separately?
  5. I had no idea IPAC made something called a PACLink that does the same thing... that’s what I would do.
  6. So I got tired of using hardware emulators and keyboard remappers and since “most” emulators take xInput natively, I went the physical route and rewired a cheap usb controller for my arcade sticks. Not the easiest thing in the world to do, but it worked!
  7. Killer Instinct is only $10 on Steam right now. Perfect for this
  8. Is there any type of ClrMAMEPro dat file(or similar solution) that could take my complete MAME ROM set and remove all the extra versions of things? I'm doing some emulating on my Nvidia Shield TV & Portable but don't need 12 versions of Street Fighter II. Anything out there like this to simplify a database?
  9. Great, I’ll take a look at this.
  10. Does anyone have any recommendations for synchronization software over WAN? The main features I'm looking for is that there is a single Master computer that can have 1 or 2 Slave computer. So that if I add or delete files from the Master they get updated. Also I'd like to be sure if someone accidentally deletes a file on one of the Slave computer, the other computers don't get effected by carelessness. Awhile back I looked at bittorrent Sync as an option, but haven't checked it out in awhile, so I thought I'd check here if anyone had recommendations. Thanks!
  11. Just thought I'd share this deal, this is a good enough price just to try it out. You could add Big Box to Steam and stream your system to any TV in the house for $9. Expires October 26th. http://store.steampowered.com/bundle/5025/ICEY__Steam_Link_Bundle/?snr=1_5_9__403
  12. Deleted the "Cache" folder in the "images" folder... All fix... no idea.
  13. Jason, you're (i'm assuming dropbox) conflict files got transfered on the install.
  14. So for some reason the filename is showing below the box art in "Image View" view. This is not the case in "List View". Is there a check box I missed or is this a bug? Running 12-beta-8
  15. So I really want the MAME Database to be updated, and want to help the only way I know how to at the moment. So I went looking for some freely available info that I hope can help. There is a good chance all this info is already known, but I'm just looking to help any way I can. 16. It’s not an install it’s a type of controller you have direct input and x input. Xbox and shield controllers are Xinput types of controllers
  17. But the Newer model of the XBOX One controllers uses bluetooth, so unlike the xbox 360 controllers and the first generations of the XBOX One controllers, you don't need a dongle if your PC already has bluetooth... and you can use it on the shield as well. That's the one I like.
  18. As far as I know, NVIDIA Controller uses xInput, if you first map snes9x with an xbox controller or any other xInput controller, you should be able to use it with the nvidia Shield, or map it while using the shield connected.... This is all theoretical, but I do have a shield and can give it a try tonight.
  19. So if you had a complete set and you were doing and fresh import of the Rom, what kind of import would you get if you told it to import duplicates? Would you all the different versions of a game? Or is this feature just for roms that have already been imported? I noticed a few roms are not getting installed because LB thinks they're duplicates, but they are not. mshvsf mshvsfa mshvsfa1 mshvsfb mshvsb1 ect... These are all Marvel Vs Street Fighter, would I then have 12 imports of M vs SF?
  20. No, just want to be complete on the database of games I have. Even though I know there's no point inside of LB since I think it's still using .175 database.
  21. I have such OCD about keeping my MAME roms up to date. It use to be a big headache to update roms, but i finally found a site that does the update well. I don't know what the TOS on posting those types of sites so i'll keep that to myself. But there are sites out there now that make updating retro roms and info on them much easier then it use to be. I just wish LB could utilize the updated database.
  22. I have not found a 32-bit program which does not run on Windows 64-bit.
  23. you can use 32 on 64 (notice you have two Program Files folders, ones for 32-bit the other 64-bit) you just can utilize all the extra horsepower that 64 gives you.
