Whatever the latest beta is (just updated again last week I think).

Also has the same problem on my HTPC which has i3-4730, 7950, Windows 8.1 also, also latest beta.

So it's happening on both NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards, at least in my house, LOL.

Very strange bug, but appreciate all the work you've put into the theme, it's much appreciated.

So it's still not the graphic card .... I begin to despair! 
Unless the bug comes from the core video, I dont know what to do !
I dont think it comes from the theme code. The proof : it works with many people.
For me, this must come:

• The core video engine code.
• A 3rd party app installed on your machines. But then to isolate it, it will not be fun!

If someone has an idea or a track, I'm a taker!

 

@Jason Carr I try to work a new PlatformView. I use the horizontal wheel with the value BANNER. But on display, it's very pixelated. While my Banner images are in high resolution. Where did the problem come from ??

It's strange  that one of the previous versions worked for me.  Maybe if I found which one you can see if something strange went missing. 

Is the old versions still available?

@ALIE I just reuploder all versions released.

But if I remember correctly, your problem was not the alignment of the videos? But the white areas?

If that's it, it's because there are not the theme images folder in:   LaunchBox > Theme > BigCouch > Images > Theme ...

Hey @viking Im really liking the new vertical view with clear logo's. Its the only one that runs super smooth for me. The boxes seems to be too much to keep up with for the little NUC. My only issue with that view is that any game that does not have a logo is displayed in white text. Its readable but just barely. Im messing around with the theme files to try to fix it but I havent figured out what view file does that game view come from. I would love to make it be black text. Not sure how to do that but Im willing to poke at it till I figure it out.

OK i tried the one that worked and now it doesn't.  I tried every version with the same results.  So I think it must be something on my end but nothing has changed other then a mandatory windows update or two.

@hargabyte : Yes, I have just seen this white text problem when there is no Game ClearLogo. But I can not figure out where to fix it. I just had a lot of testing, but it's still white. Anyone know where this value?

@Jason Carr : In a GameView = Game ClearLogo wheel = when there is no ClearLogo, where to change the font color for the game title? Thx !!

@ALIE : Yes, this video alignment bug makes me crazy!  I dont know what to do !!

For the curious, here is the code I use to align right. It seems to me to be the cleanest because aligned by the grids and not by functions.

Well Im glad Im not the only one with this issue. For not its motivating me to go through my list and try to create some of these clear logo's no idea how to upload them to emumovies but I should figure that out.

Hey viking, the bug comes clearly from the Big Box video engines itself. Depending on the engine you have selected you get 2 totally different buggy behaviors. Some videos aren't affected at all, some more and some less. But that bug always occurs on the exact same videos and I get that with your and my own videos as well, no matter what Big Box theme I use. I also can’t identify a pattern why this occurs because I know that all of my videos were encoded with the exact same settings and the same program version. So that’s something what Jason has to fix.

In the meantime, I looked at your theme and fixed it for 16:9 resolutions the same way like I have with my own theme. I calculated how much space a video of yours needs to fit exactly in the right column of your row on the top. Because the size is only optimized for 16:9 aspect ratios you’ll need to do different versions of your theme for different aspect ratios. I know it’s not ideal but it works for now until Jason has fixed that annoying bug.

Well, the bug that I intended to fix – the position of the video – seems to be fixed in your screenshot

Have you renamed the BigCouch folder? It looks like that Big Box can’t find the custom images that Viking has included with his theme and they can only work if everything is named exactly like he has provided it. Maybe you want to delete the BigCouch theme and download a new version of it, to see if that fixes the problem.

Love the theme except for the fact that transitions completely turn off when I have the theme set. Any suggestions?
