@Jason Carr star ratings are all messed up in BigBox for me in the new official release. When setting them it sets in.99 increments, so 4.99 instead of 5 stars and so on. And other times it will set the number to something crazy like 235542.99. This is all while setting the rating in BB only, LB is fine.

That has nothing to do with LaunchBox vs. Big Box; it's a relic from the betas. If you run the Download Metadata and Media wizard for all your games it should be fixed.

@Jason Carr just did a update to get updated star values. But it seems to be going infinitely on finishing up.  It's not frozen but keeps going.

I updated metadata for everything and I'm still having the issue.

This is because going left or right in Big Box just adds or subtracts 0.5 to or from the current value. If you want to reset it to 0.5 increments, just go all the way to the right or all the way to the left, which should set it to 5.0 or 0.0. Then the increments will be back to normal.

It does take some significant time for large collections when doing all games. It's most likely not stuck, just needs more time.

Also, Scott over at Retro Achievements just fixed Sega Genesis and Master System! So we should be good to go there now.

It seems to be fixed. But look at first it's giving me strange ratings then when I fill it out completely it fixes it self and gives full and half stars.

That is by design. But if it bothers people we can certainly change it.

Check your inbox and/or download section. The pc game save file relocator is experimental so if you intend to use that feature, make sure you back up your game saves (there may be some kinks I still need to work out). Other than that, what you initially wanted works fine. Lemme know if you have any questions.

That worked thanks! For some reason raising the value to five stars and back down didn't work, but lowering to zero worked.

The black screen has returned in the official release.  The only thing I can think of is it possibly being something in the random video startup. Not a show stopper.

I saw it from the beginning and reported it. Saw it again yesterday but didn't feel like reporting it do to skepticism and/or just wanting Jason to move on

I personally haven't seen it since the official release, not to say it isn't still there I just haven't seen it. Have you guys tried just leaving one video in the folder and seeing if it still happens, that could help to eliminate if its due to the randomness.

I don't use the random thing yet because I haven't found other vids that I like yet so I've only had one the entire time.
