I remember now, I couldn’t get on with G-hub and used Logitech gaming software 9.02 instead. Was a lot easier thanks for responding, I don't think my G920 is supported by the older software (i'll check though). So I am stuck with G-hub. Oh well I'll figure it out somehow

So I am stuck with G-hub. Oh well I'll figure it out somehow First click the profile up top, which shouyd be on default. Next click add game or application. Locate your game/emulator (in this example im using teknoparrot). Now click the top profile button again. You will now have a new profile which is associated with a .exe in the top row, click it. This applies the profile and adds it to the second row, click it on the second row. Then pick your wheel. Then edit the buttons/wheel/pedals as you see fit. That profile will then be loaded whenever that specific .exe is ran.

BarryWheresBarry
Finally setup big box for my racing set up, but unfortunately still doesn't have support for wheel navigation with a Logitech g29. Hopefully that gets fixed one day without using 3rd party apps or doing different ghub profiles.
Lewis74
Is there still no fix for this?? Just finished setting up my driving cab only to find out my G27 cannot navigate the menus.

No idea if it will work for you or not though. - Improvement: A new Problematic Controller Compatibility option has been added to Big Box that improves compatibility with non-gamepad controllers such as racing wheels; this option disables binding axes (axises) that are often completely thrown off by pedals and wheels

Only the buttons for the G27 can be mapped. No pedals and no wheel axis are mappable. I used JoytoKey to create a workaround and its doing the job. Lordmonkus
Since you have a G27 if you have the shifter for it and hooked up it might be better to map the navigation controls to the dpad and buttons on the shifter. The fix I believe was to deal with the issue of the pedal axis causing auto scrolling issues in BigBox.

My real issue was the fact the axis couldn't be mapped (unified theme). Like i said the joy2key got me around the issue and its working how i want it for now. I must say the step up in quality to big box is an absolute game changer (no pun intended).

If you try navigation with axes on a wheel for a while, you'll find that it's really annoying and you don't really want that (or at least that was my experience). Which is why the wheels come with D-Pads for directional navigation.

Jason, for dedicated racing cabs navigating the games with the wheel is pretty important along with select/back using gas/brake pedals. I have it all setup on mine and working with my G29. The issue is wheel navigation is, as you say annoying. Navigating with the wheel is more like a digital input...when it hits that certain point the wheel takes off very fast. I think what would be nice is some kind of "smoothing" for analog axis. Not sure if I'm using the correct term? I remember back in the old Hyperspin days there was some kind of sensitivity setting or something like it that could be adjusted...it was for navigating the wheel with a trackball and it actually worked pretty good. You adjusted a slider to "tune" the scrolling to your trackball. Ideally navigation would be slow with the wheel turned a bit and fast with the wheel turned further. Just my 2 cents. I navigate with the Dpad and select/back with a/b button or gas/brake and it works. Using the wheel would just give that wow factor. Cheers

I did a quick setup and got the Wheel and Gas pedal mapped to Keyboard buttons. It worked great for BigBox navigation, but it screwed up in-game controls. Getting the wheel & pedals to work is doable. Getting them to be usable is another story. The wheel is very "digital ". We need proper analog controller support. speedracer50
I am trying to build a driving cabinet, do we have a fix for the G29 controllers yet? I am on the latest version of LaunchBox and using BigBox and I cant even map the D-pad buttons let alone the steering wheel or gas pedals. All the games work fine and I have tried creating a profile int the Logitech software. I can set one button in big box and then it stops recognizing the any input from the G29, if i clear the one input it then will let me set another one but only one. POS i have tried toggling the problematic controller button and it made no difference.
