This is actually glorious! Very easy to use, intuitively designed with the ways it's folders are setup making customization easy. While I was trying it out for some pokemon hack saves it occurred to me that I can also recolor the existing templates and add patterns myself! I recolored the GBA cart and did some testing, I will upload the result, I'll throw in an octopus for good measure, I decided to go for the purple one! I find it's ease of use allows me to enjoy the process of making my carts, it's a bit addictive to me. The included patterns are also very tasteful, and the carts are very realistic and well made. I don't know what else to say since the possibilities are practically endless, it can make custom carts for your ROM hacks as well as breathe new life into your entire collection, you will be surprised of how big of a difference it makes. I see this as a must have now.4 points

This works perfectly! And after trying it out it feels wrong to have Redream in Launchbox without this. Installation was dummy proof. I renamed my old VMU0 to VMU1 to set it to one of the static VMUS, 1 to 3 are constant and 0 is the one that gets changed as insutructions state. Then I just messed around in Redream with savefiles, loading up the game via Launchbox then transferred the file for that game from VMU1 to VMU0 with the in-game Redream menu using the Export feature. *You actually need to load the game through Launchbox and not through Redream itself, otherwise the VMU0 will get overwritten once you launch a game through Launchbox.* I'm glad someone modernized the save system to be alot more flexible, letting me keep both game specific VMUs and static constant VMUs. It helps me back them up in a more organized manner, especially since I transfer saves regularly between Android and PC Redream versions. I've broken a few save files before being clumsy so this also adds another layer of safety as well as organization so to speak. I personally needed something like this! A way to make VMU files practically behave like common savefiles, and without even dismantling anything or having to manually change Redream to a different emulator in LaunchBox. I think this is one of those features that completes an emulator like Redream via Launchbox. Without having to mess with other third party tools to split or merge VMUs; it allows you to do both of those things from the convenience of the Redream menu. Like I mentioned, this modernizes the save system for Redream and bypasses limitations that reflect the constraints that we had in hardware with a very creative approach, it's fun to see problem solving like this.2 points

You can tell this was made with an extreme amount of attention to detail by someone who actually played a lot these consoles and did their research. The amount of effort and creativity in this is such that you may discover something new each time you look through library. I feel like this is the height of retro aesthetic for emulation as it gets, this is the prettiest UI to me and it stands above the rest in so many ways while still being functional rather than having to choose between functionality or retro aesthetic. This is far above the rest in many ways, it does not info dump you with retro stock images, but it rather illustrate a retro environment in a minimalistic but aesthetically pleasing way. You can see the cartridge before it goes into the GameBoy Color from behind, a feeling that is etched in my memory, you can see the GameCube cartridge, the small GameCube disc spinning, surrounded by an environment reminding you of the purple GameCube, one of the most if not the most iconic one in the west when we didn't get the orange or other colors like in Japan. The small lights, the custom accurate button placement that are also serve a function, the details such as cartridges, CDs and images are not to the left, to the right or in a corner, nor is relative information such as player numbers, it is all placed in a very digestible and to the point way, unlike some other UIs in which you search for text on one side, see the art on another, and may see an animation with stock images for a background like some info dump cluster of "retro things" trying to be retro, rather than being the retro environment that is this UI. The environment that is themed after the console you select is also non invasive, functional and absolutely beautiful, all music included in the UI is also chill and extremely nostalgic, the Sega Dreamcast one alone had vibes that awakened core memories from my childhood. Basically I can tell this was made with alot of love and effort, looking forward to seeing more of this.2 points

Awesome job on this and extra props for taking the time to write out detailed instructions. I was inundated at first but after 3 days was able to get 90% up and operational. Its great having all these compiled in one place and i am still looking forward to tinkering with some of the old school D&D programs.2 points

This is the best playlist videos I've seen I would love to see more playlist videos based on series, movies, cartoons and anime franchises like Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, Dragon Ball Z etc and possibly Sub-Series like Mega Man X, Mega Man Zero and Street Fighter Alpha. This is the one of the most potential work of this forum. Thanks for your hard and amazing work!1 point

Love this plugin! I think this will be very useful on my setup. I realized this plugin shows the default command-line parameter, which is wonderful. But when a platform don't have a default command-line parameter assigned, doesn't show the specific game command-line one. Would it be possible to make it show per-game command line? As an example, in my Acorn Electron Platform, i have 3 types of games: Cassettes, Cartridges, Floppies. And each type uses a different command-line so i batch edit them directly (Platform Command-line is blank)1 point

Everything is in the right place to make quick (relative to skill) Switch cases. Definitely utilize the layers and you shouldn't have any issues. I'm not sure about Launchbox's rules on posting YouTube links, but most videos explaining how to use layers should get you going. I personally prefer making 2 or 2.5D box art, but I wanted to check the file out and see how it well it works if someone else is interested.1 point

Thanks, I used your 1.5 dats to help make the “Onion RetroAchievements Pack” for Miyoo Mini Plus on Internet Archive and couldn’t have done it without your hard work. I know you’ve switched to the no-intro naming convention for v2 and it makes sense but I hope you keep the short titles of 1.5 as an option somehow. Would also be cool if hacks, homebrew, and so on went into corresponding folders instead of using the prefix. These are just my personal preferences and I appreciate whatever we get. Thanks again!1 point

These are amazing, both visually and the effort is truly impressive. Love the nuanced, ambient feel for each artwork. My only critique is that I wish the artworks were offered with two view modes, one for Scratched and one for Clean, or a controllable opacity layer to reduce the prominence of the scratches. Anyways, great work and thank you for all the continual updates! ⭐1 point

I might be a little bit biased, but regardless of how this Theme was created it clearly demonstrates @Rincewind's artistic talent, I personally love this Theme for its clean, fun and bold color scheme and it kind of reminds me of one of my favorite PC games.... Day of The Tentacle. Great job @Rincewind1 point
