Old post, but I had the exact same issue. I solved it by disabling graphics widgets. Not a developer, but I believe it has something to do with an overlay conflicting with onscreen notifications. You can do this in the interface by going Settings -> User Interface -> On-Screen Notifications -> Graphics Widgets. In a cfg file you can add menu_enable_widgets = "false" Edit: Just found out you can also switch the video driver to ogl to fix the issue as well. In a cfg file that would be video_driver = "gl"

I am on the most recent beta (12.10 beta 1). When I go to to go to the hamburger menu>tools>options it crashes the program to the point where I need to use task manager to kill it

Nope! Just closing the window like normal.

I don't know if I am the only one having this issue, but I can no longer change the defult emulator for games. Neither indivdual nor in mass. It will save for the sesstion, but then defult back to previous choice on close.

I can't boot launchbox on version 11.3-beta-2. I was able to boot on version 11.2. Here is the error log. Unable to load one or more of the requested types. Thank you so much! I feel really dumb now, but the important thing is that the problem is solved!

So I realize this isn't a launchbox thing, but I tried the dolphin forms and they were of no help. I have my pc hooked up to a TV as my secondary monitor. When I use Bigbox, I have it go on that secondary monitor. Dolphin for what ever reason does not have the abilty to choose what monitor it appears on. Anyone have a idea for a 3rd party soultion?

Well thank you for being honest and open about it. I have to say I am a little bummed, but I understand why you did it. If the project were to ever continue in the future, would I need to purchase a different app, or would my previous purchase have been enough?

I realize this fourm is long dead, however, I just want to say that I love your work @PaDeMoNiuM. I used a lot of your videos in my personal build. Thanks for all of your hard work for the community!

Can we get support for "My Boy!"? It's GBA emulater that can actually emulate a link cable. Thanks for all the hard work!

If the icons for the types of controls icons does in fact end up high on poll, it would be possible to have seprate icons for holding the wii-mote controler veritically (like wii sports), or horizontally (like Donkey Kong Country Returens)?

Not a problem! As for the steam link issue, ETA Prime made a video a while ago about getting it to work with Big Box. In short, you have to add big box as a game on steam and run it through that. Otherwise, its gonna mess with the controls.

You should look into Parsec. It's a remote desktop that allows you to access your computer from another computer.
