  1. Installed state on import tool is initially found by looking at all applications that have an uninstaller registered to Windows and has the GOG metadata associated with it. If you install a game that doesn't do this, or simply move the install from one computer/location to another, it wouldn't currently detect it. Where you able to scan the directory the games are in on the E drive, and did it successfully find them?
  2. Yeah, currently if the tool didn't auto find the game the "Folder" column is blank and it sets a blank app path as shows the game as Not Installed. If it finds it that column will tell you where it found it. Scan feature allows you to select a folder that all the games are installed in and the tool will manually look in that folder path for your GOG games (looks for the .info file GOG puts in the directory). Once the tool ran the folder column will update for all games found.
  3. @neil9000 was the folder column blank on the import screen? If yes, did you try the "Scan directory..." button to find it/tell it where the game was located?
  4. In the import tool did anything appear in the "Folder" column? I would guess that the process was unable to locate the executable for that game. Could you confirm the following for me? What is the name of a title having this issue (2-3 would be helpful if possible)? Did the folder column have any information in it during import? Are these games actually installed on your computer? Does GOG Galaxy see these games as being installed on your computer?
  5. Did you use the GOG import tool or another method of adding it to your library? When you edit the game what is the application path set to? I do see that games with missing app path are not displaying with the play option in Big Box. It isn't a great solution I admit, but until the fix gets put in you CAN use the controller automation "play" and the title will launch appropriately if you "skip game detail" screen (again in the options of Big Box). I will see what it causing the issue and get it corrected. Thanks for reporting it, much appreciated.
  6. Yes there are badges for "Multiple Versions" and Steam/GOG both have their own badges and will display if ANY version of the game uses that storefront. There is a new start up process that will attempt to update Steam/GOG games "Installed" flag, as well as an attempt to correctly associate any games already imported AS a GOG game. In our testing this had negligable affect on the start up time. In my testing approx. 8000 titles were affected by one of the new start up processes and it out of 20 tests it on average added 30ms to my load time, 52ms was the biggest increase. I would like to think slower/older hardware would not have a noticeable increase but would love to hear input as to whether that is the case if you anyone notices while testing. Built-in badges shouldn't vary your performance much at all as they all check readily cached data to display and are only added first time the game appears (so it isn't recalculated every frame). There is a process on launch that checks all Steam games and GOG games install state automatically. Anything else at this point is a manual flag. Very glad to hear. Thanks for letting us know.
  7. Is there supposed to be audio or were you feeling shy when recording? I don't use those styles of clear logo's but know many do and I can see MANY people using that feature. Good job once again.

  9. We've all come to expect some pretty awesome themes for Big Box from this community, but LaunchBox themes are hard to come by, ones this well done even more so. Keep up the good work. Need to get the license thing nailed down to always be visible, but overall I think you are definitely onto something here and I look forward to seeing where you take it. In regard to the XAML code I REALLY wouldn't worry too much about it. I can tell you from personal experience that we have some people in this community who have gotten pretty damn awesome with XAML and how to use it in themes, and all of them are down to earth, helpful, and supportive. If you really would like to optimize it before releasing it you have resources at your disposal here in the community to help with that endeavor, but really if the theme works without significant loss of performance VERY FEW people are even going to open the XAML up to even see it.

  11. You were given steps to follow to try and correct the issue. This statement has steps not included in that process. We are all willing to help when required but if you aren't going to take the advice and help given then please stop asking and wasting everyone's time.
  12. You forgot to say my name 3 times or I'd have been here by now..... Just need some information to help track some stuff down since I can't currently replicate. Are you refreshing your images after using the tool? Do the images you are attempting to download show up in the edit screen after? Are they in your images folder and NOT in LaunchBox? Do you have the LB ID for one of the games you are having issues with? Are you seeing any errors when downloading?

  15. First off, I would appreciate it if you would limit the attitude given to those attempting to help you out with the extremely limited information you are offering. People are spending their limited time to assist in you in something that is typically quite trivial. It doesn't do you good to respond to that consideration with negativity. Secondly @neil9000 is very much correct. There are no additional steps needed to get good roms to work in that core. I would delete the core as well as any files/folders you added when following the libetro docs and then redownload the core through the RetroArch UI/Menus. I personally would install another instance of RetroArch to a different folder and try there, verify if it works correctly, then if it does update your live install to match.
  16. Have moved some code around and changed all the urls to HTTPS as well as added some logging. Once next push comes out we can try again, and if still not working as expected grab some logs and see maybe why.
  17. Do either of you have a firewall on that may be stopping LaunchBox from communicating via http? Curious why neither of you can connect to Steam through LaunchBox but you can via web browser.
  18. Could some one else chime in as to whether they are getting similar results that Pixel is seeing. I can't replicate the issues on my end.

Can you do the following for me @Pixel: Select Blasphemous Go to Tools > Download Metadata and Media Hit Next, Check "Prioritize Steam Metadata" Uncheck all image types On the last page when asked whether you want to overwrite press the top option (overwrite all) Hit finish and let the process run Now Navigate to Blasphemous in your collection and press edit (or CTRL-E) In genre you should see "Action; Adventure; Indie" what do you see?
  21. Steam's Genre tags are pulled in if the game is not in the LaunchBox GamesDB or if you prioritize Steam metadata.
  22. I was able to replicate the issue you were having and you should see it corrected in the next beta update. Please let me know if after the next update you still see this issue.
  23. Right click a game, hit edit. Go to the "Other" tab at the bottom of that screen, there is a "Sort Title" field. If you didn't add one it will be blank.
  24. Can you give me the exact Title (and Sort Titles) you are using for the games you are seeing this for?
