  1. The tool when marking files as duplicates if the file has the same hash value (is LITERALLY the same file in two places, or with two names) or if you are using the newer rough image match and it determines that two images are the same image but different file hash.
  2. Looks like a read error at the provided path. First steps would be to verify that the file IS in that location, second is that you have access to it. Also if you are not on the latest version I would update to 11.7 as there has been a lot of code added in the last few releases to help plugins/themes function.
  3. @Bigb_ch 1-2: Could use Auto-Populate based on region 3-6: Set that value in Source field and then Auto-Populate against that Then each of the 6 playlists will update automatically when adding games. If you know you are going to be done importing games for a while I would then shut off the Auto-Populate on those playlists as they do increase loading times for some users. If you are premium you can use Custom Tags to generate information for the Auto-Populate to work against as well.
  4. The only real way of doing what you are suggesting (that I can think of) would be to basically swap images in image cache for the image the user wants to use. When doing so you would need to maintain the naming convention as well as make sure the to scale the image correctly (or you can/will greatly increase load times)
  5. Believe Retro Bedroom changes console images as well.
  6. And then make sure the Parents tab has Arcade checked as the parent. Should appear the same way the MAME Auto-Generated playlists do.
  7. Can create an auto-generated playlist that looks for games where Favorite is true, should do the trick for you.
  8. At the top of the page press "Help & Support" and then "Request a Feature" and file it there. That way people can vote on it and it gets in front of the developers eyes faster.
  9. Wasn't aware of this until now. In the future the best way to report things like this is to click "Help & Support" at the top of this page and then "Report a bug". Far better chance of a developer seeing the issue so we can address it. I do have code in place now that addresses this issue and you should see it corrected in the next beta release.
  10. Are you turning it on in XInput mode? Hold X down while turning the controller on and see if that helps. Then also make sure you are connected via bluetooth, Last I knew those controllers don't show as plugged in via the USB cord, it is only for charging.
  11. Do you have Controller Automation on and anything set under the "Close Active Window" binding?
  12. @RaiderX1212 There is no need to manually create a m3u file and import it. LaunchBox can be told to build it for you automatically. You will need to make sure the emulator you're using though supports that file extension however. Simply import the game files (either the bin or the cue) and make sure on the games imported each additional application that is created has a disc number assigned (LaunchBox should do this automatically for you if your roms are named right). Then in Manage Emulators (accessed via the Tools dropdown) ensure the checkbox to create M3u is checked. LB will then create the M3U and point your emulator to it for you when you launch the game (or any app with a disc number assigned).
  13. Would make sure your video card drivers are up-to-date as well. The error code associated to your crash typically means an application was trying to touch memory the OS didn't think it was allowed to. Often time with DirectX this happens if the driver is old and forcing the card to do something fixed in a newer version of the driver.
  14. The file you would want is \\Launchbox\Data\Platforms.xml. In the bottom of the file there are PlatformFolders tags with information on the platform, what the path is for, and where it points. You would change the path in those sections.
  15. Glad it worked out for ya. I CLEARLY underestimated how long your translated strings were compared to their English counterpart lol
  16. Thanks for making us aware @Cauptain. I have it corrected and it should be fixed in the release.
  17. Best to put feature requests in the BitBucket Repo. I am fairly certain this is already in there. Just simply vote on that item so we can track interest levels easier.
  18. Yeah that tends to happen when people just enter a platform and select all and delete, instead of right clicking the platform name and deleting the platform.
  19. It is titled "Nintendo Game & Watch". Link to the GamesDB website: https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/platforms/games/166
  20. Yeah... didn't see what forum section we were in. May have been a pretty nice clue huh lol
  21. Unless I am misunderstanding you it is in the options menu
  22. Responded to your BitBucket ticket
  23. I would assume you have platforms still in LB that don't have games so you don't see them in the sidebar but they DO exist in LaunchBox and so still recreate those folders. Look in your "Manage Platforms" window, are the platforms listed there? If so delete them and then delete the folders and they shouldn't reappear.
  24. Yeah if you are searching for Arcade media your platform needs to have "Scrape As" set to arcade, be named "Arcade", or be named "MAME" for the EmuMovies search to be able to search correctly.
  25. EmuMovies search uses platform/game name title searches. Would need to know the Platform name, Platform Scrape As, and Game Title before we can help diagnose what may be going on.
