  3. More like fan made material. But it would go in the MUGEN category because they are not legit pc games. Fighting game creator is what it is. Just like Rpg maker would go under it's own name because it is an engine that can create a bunch of other games.
  4. it's not an emulator. it's a 2D fighting game engine used for making your own characters, fullgames, or just playing with other ppl's creations.
  5. @Jason CarrThe plugin with the font only has the font in it. No other code. I followed the tutorial by eatkinola. If u put ur own font in a plugin and change the name in the few areas that use it in the 1st wheel game view, does it still crash? edit: also, the opened plugin with the fonts in it is in the .7z file in the plugin folder with the same name as the .dll
  6. 1. Is it possible that the way the epoch theme adds the custom font bypasses the issue? I see it looks as if the dll font inclusion at the top of the wheel game xaml is a bit different than how i was told to do it in the beginning. 2. If i give you the actual font, would you be able to do something to it to make it not crash or something? All was well b4 a recent windows update. @Jason Carr

  8. I see it talks about fonts and text so I remove all traces of the dll with my custom fonts in it and the crash doesn't happen anymore. Thing is, I haven't touched anything that dealt with fonts in months. But I did download a windows update yesterday... I just don't get it. How can I resolve this??? And why does it not crash if I do the above steps (with all the fonts looking just fine)?
  9. Nah, it was playing vids back to back one after the other instead of randomly choosing one and looping that one until platform change for the random selection to happen again. It also had abug where it was playing all vids no matter the platform you were on.
  10. Last night I was working on my theme everything was fine. Then I decided to close out xaml. When I relaunched bb, this happened: A rapid spam of error boxes before bb disappears. How do I dump this info to be read so that I can figure out what's wrong? There's nothing in the log folder. !.And the thing is, when I start bigbox, I will be on platform view and when I click on a platform I should go to the game wheel view. When I do this, I get this spam before it disappears. 2.But if I go into options, switch to start on All Games and then choose View All Games, it'll crash BUT on next start, it will be on the games. Then If I switch it back to start on platforms and then select view platforms, no crash. But if I restart BB go back to doing #1, it'll do this spam again.
  11. Unbroken.Launchbox.library seems to have an exclamation point beside it under resources. How to fix? It also says usercontrolstyle cannot be resolved?

  15. Animget to convert to images without capturing duplicate frames. Then you can use photoshop to turn those images into a gif. Have each image to not share the same palette to prevent color loss.
  16. yes. use a gif with doubleanimation opacity (for fade transition) junctioned and make sure it is seen UNDER your current game background. Might not be wise to use a vid with sound because won't cease to stop making sound if your normal game bg has sound. So if you have no sound, that's why I recommend using a gif for this. But if you want to try anyway, eatkinola's plugin allows for multiple vids in one area (i think)???
  17. Eatkinola's plugin fixes this or you can remove the images and have them read from somewhere else and use backgroundview instead. Background view allows stretching automatically. I posted another method another ways back in this thread about using scaling. But the problem with that is that it only works correctly in the resolution you code it in.
