  1. Memotech MTX 3D Game Boxes View File A set of 96 3D boxes worked from retail artwork scans. Non game software such as educational, programming and utility is not included. Boxes are a mix of card (24) and Norelco (72). The set comes in two inlay effects, clear and with a splodge of sheen; see the previews for comparisons. The card boxes are a mix of Megastar and the slightly wider Level 9 ones. Thanks to @edgemundo for kindly sharing his tape template which was vandalised to make the simple case effect used for the Norelco packaged games. Meow! 5. The database could also do with image fields for cassette front and back media. At the moment uploaders tend to submit cassette images using the existing cart fields. Splitting the current Box-3D image field to embrace front and back fields might also be welcome. Unfortunately, since Vlansix left there is no database manager for development and improvement on a day to day basis.
  6. I was saddened to learn of the premature death last Sunday of Near (aka Byuu). They were a major talent in emulation development, especially of bsnes/higan and the precursor to Libretro/Retroarch. They gave us so much whilst being derided for who they were. May they at last find the peace and acceptance denied to them in this world.
  7. Wishing you all the best in your new position @faeran. @Jason Carr you have chosen wisely.

  10. Thanks for the comment. I must try that.
  11. The best ones out there are ep128emu and the simpler to use ep32. MAME also emulates the Enterprise. It's currently nowhere near the dedicated ones but this may change over time.
  12. Most of the 3D boxes have already been submitted to, and are available on, the LaunchBox Database. Colossal Adventure was incorrectly reworked (and submitted) as a Norelco when the cat was distracted, so I'll submit it again as a card box as it ought to be. I'll also check and submit any other omissions.
  13. Enterprise (a.k.a. Elan) 64/128 Computer 3D Game Boxes View File A set of 163 3D boxes worked from retail and custom box scans. Non game software such as educational, programming and utility is not included. Boxes are a mix of card, wide card and Norelco plastic boxes. 15. LaunchBox does not display bitmap images in it's right sidebar. You'll also get boxart and screenshot bitmap no-shows in BigBox depending on the chosen Games List View. I noticed this behaviour a long time ago and it's possibly always existed. I don't often come across bitmap images and always convert them to LaunchBox friendly formats like png or jpg before adding them.
  16. @zugswang I'm not quite sure what you mean by "romset version" unless it's a MAME software list one. I just did them as boxes for BBC Micro games as such.
  17. BBC Microcomputer 3D Game Boxes View File A set of 1485 3D boxes almost all of which were worked from retail artwork scans. Non game software such as educational, programming and utility is not included. The boxes have simple case effects and are, due to different aspect dimensions, separated into 6 folders for quick bulk resizing if desired. Each image has a unique filename so they can all be moved to a single folder without conflicts. Titles with more than 1 image have a suffix in brackets, e.g. Cylon Attack (AnF).png and Cylon Attack (Beebug).png Thanks to @edgemundo for kindly sharing his tape template which was vandalised for the Norelco case effects. Thanks also to whoever created the 2D fanart box fronts for Trickysoft's Astro Blaster, Centipede, Frogger and Phoenix, as well as providing the 2D box front for Retro Power's Elementum (all 5 ex LBox Db). 19. The Acorn BBC is known in the Launchbox Games Database as the BBC Microcomputer System
  20. The boxes were made, using paintnet and imandix, from net available flyers with spines added. No templates used as such except for the common spine overlay images shown here. spines.zip
  21. Very nice work. I really like the cassette case template you use, best I've seen so far.
  22. Your bios cdimono1.zip should contain the following files. cdi200.rom cdi220.rom cdi220b.rom zx405037p__cdi_servo_2.1__b43t__llek9215.mc68hc705c8a_withtestrom.7201 zx405042p__cdi_slave_2.0__b43t__zzmk9213.mc68hc705c8a_withtestrom.7206 cdimono1.zip was last updated in June 2020. A current full MAME (0.226) romset should include this bios. If you just want cdimono1.zip then you can source it from Retroroms.
  23. There is no official documentation. A wiki was set up quite a while back, but it never got going and it's link is now a dead end. As of now you have these forums as well as the various video tutorials (on youtube I believe) to visit for any help.
  24. It seems to pull results if you omit the space between Neo and Geo and use NeoGeo
  25. LaunchBox has an option to physically delete the file from your computer when you delete it in LaunchBox. The last time I tried it out it only deleted the file that LaunchBox was aware of (pointed to launch), so any game which used a working rom and a CHD only had the working rom deleted with the much larger CHD left. Also, any previously played games will have other unwanted items such as cfg, nvram and CHD diff files left behind.
