  1. In your BigBox settings screen go to Options, Images and clear the Show Platform Banner Images tickbox.
  2. This is most interesting indeed. I must study this when I've got some time to hand. I use the Bad Old Monkey theme myself. I use Additional Apps to pop up Arcade Italia (and Progetto Emma when it's not in maintenance!) game information web pages for my arcade and other games. A bit tedious to set up but practical for me with my very small LaunchBox set of 807 games (arcade and other systems).
  3. You're welcome. I use 2 devices, i8244.zip and voice.zip and my parameters are odyssey2 -cart1 voice -cart2 This provides voice synthesis in supported games such as KCs Krazy Chase.
  4. It looks like you may be missing the device i8244.zip which contains the file charset_i8244.bin That device should come with a full MAME romset.
  5. I think that you can also have BigBox per-theme custom ones in LaunchBox\Themes\"theme name"\Images\Platforms\Banner folder. Custom platform banner images here will automatically override the existing platform banner images when the theme is in use.
  6. Orion-128 Custom 3D Boxes View File A set of custom 3D boxes for the Orion-128's 65 cassette games. Despite extensive browsing I failed to source a single piece of boxart for this system so I went down the adapt or grow your own route. The games themselves were a mix of native homebrews, Specialist ports and (mainly Spectrum) bootlegs. Two styles are included: cased and plain (see both Xonix images above). Thanks once again to @edgemundo for kindly sharing his tape template which was reworked for the Norelco case effect. Submitter spycat Submitted 05/31/2022 Category Game Box Art

  10. To prevent game overviews from showing on the LaunchBox Game Details sidebar go to Tools>Options>Game Details and clear the Notes checkbox. To do the same in BigBox go to Options>Game Details and clear the Show Notes checkbox. I don't have any interest in the Related Games (similar, recommended and ports) feature. While it's in my LaunchBox options I see no mention of it on either my LaunchBox Game Details sidebar or in my BigBox. If it's present for you then I have no idea on how to remove it.
  11. I'm not certain about this but I believe that the display name that you set in your LaunchBox forums account also applies to your games database account and you can't have two separate ones.
  12. I'm on LaunchBox 12.9 official and have found no issues with setting custom command-line parameters. Once entered they remain until you decide to cancel them.
  13. The Unified Refried theme (version 2.0.1) is available for download from within BigBox. However the file hosted on the LaunchBox forums Downloads contains 5 extra zips that the theme itself can avail of.
  14. These are the artwork zips I use for Darius and Darius II in MAME. I can't distribute BezelProject bezels so as posted these zips only contain a lay file and you'll need to add the bezels yourself. Drop the darius bezel png into darius.zip and darius2 bezel png into darius2.zip. By the way I see 2 vertical black lines in your screenshots but maybe that's just the camera. darius.zip darius2.zip
  15. @myric227 Do you use MAME itself or Retroarch? I use MAME and needed to add external artwork zips for these games to show the bezel properly.
  16. Acorn Electron 2D Game Box Covers View File 890 front covers derived in the main from retail boxart scans. Non game software such as educational, programming and utility is not included, although a few may have crept in. Where a title currently exists in the LaunchBox Games Database the jpg image is named to match, otherwise the game title from the boxart scan is used. Titles with more than one image have a disposable suffix, e.g. Citadel (Superior).jpg and Citadel (Superior_BR).jpg Meow! Submitter spycat Submitted 03/04/2022 Category Game Box Art

  20. Nice to see boxart for another European home computer from the 1980's. Good work too @edgemundo
  21. Excellent work indeed. Is there a download link for these 3D boxes?
  22. You could check that your ZX Spectrum platform's "Scrape As" field is set to Sinclair ZX Spectrum
  23. Hi folks. I haven't used LaunchBox List View in ages but I tried it when using the official 12.3 build and encountered the error below. The same error is showing with the official 12.4 build. I'm curious as to whether it's a LaunchBox issue or something at my end. All other features of LaunchBox and BigBox are working fine.
