Interesting as a quick fix you could add an additional app and add the one that didn't get added correctly until this can be looked at.

Also if your TV has a game mode you may want to look at turning that on.

I don't use Phoenix at all but has anyone tried using the command line itself to try to get the supported commands I know in demul if you navigate to the directory with the exe in CMD you can type demul.exe /? and it will return the supported command line,

you can right click on any individual game in LB and then edit the emulator for that specific game. Or you can use ctrl+left click and choose multiple games and then right click and edit and change the emulator for just the selected games

due to ring games just becoming emulatable I can't guarantee that you will get the best results but they may have metadata for them.

Dovella has one of the newer Atoms and reported that Dolphin was playing nice on there if he used the Vulkan render but beyond that I don't have any experience beyond my 2015 SOC which is lacking RAM more than anything at 2GB.

We aren't adding any more separate categories for arcade they will be lumped as Arcade in the DB you can always name it Sega Ring and scrape it as arcade. There won't be any platform media for it by default but I'm sure some of the guys around here who like creating art assets wouldn't mind creating things for them. I want to try TeknoParrot but don't want to sign up for the shit on their site in order to download it.

Some the modern Atom chips are pretty good and support Vulkan

Hey welcome to the community before we get anywhere you do realize that you need Windows to run LB I didn't see it mentioned and I see those x86 pcs are running Android.

the new categories are just autocreated playlist and they can be safely deleted or edit to only show up in playlist without actually removing any roms you added already. To delete them simply right click on them in the sidebar of LB and choose delete. To edit them and only have them appear under playlist right click the entry in the sidebar and go to edit, on the form that opens you can uncheck the checkbox that is making them visible in LB.

Got a bulk renamer I used Bulk Rename Utility to do so for my NDS folders and didn't change the actual names of the roms and then used the checkbox to use folder naming instead of file naming during the import. I chose to do it this way due to the utility being able to see all the folders at once and they were easier to change. if your games aren't in individual subfolder then that isn't a concern as you can just bulk edit the games from their directory.

That's weird if I set my main display to marquee and my portrait monitor to my main screen I don't have any issues.

The forum is run by the dev he pays for the bandwidth and he occasionally comes on and does answer questions but there really isn't a team, all the people here answering your questions are volunteers doing so out of the goodness of their hearts.

For real if people knew the answers to your questions they would help you out. This is a community forum with all volunteers so how you feel entitled to support is mind boggling to me if you need official support you can go to support@unbrokensoftware.com and someone there will reply to you I'm sure.

Two more scenarios if games are in folders and have multiparts when you search add *.filetype and it will search the sub directories also If your game files with weird names but are in normal named folders there is a checkbox inside of the import that allows you to name the game with the folder name instead of the file name. If you read the prompts during the import on all the forms you will see it is very versatile and that may situations have been thought out and handled already by the program I strongly suggest that you subscribe to the YT channel and check out the tutorials section there are a lot of videos out there that will show you how to set it all up.

if they are multi file games do what I said but instead search for the file type you desire in Explorer and when that pops up click on one game and hit ctrl+a and select them and drag them onto LB same results and for best results don't move MAME games into LB without expecting to have to edit the file path in MAME and if you move multidisc games into LB folder make sure you also move your other files also or they won't work.

Its so easy to add games you can actually go to file explorer open your rom folder use ctrl+a to select all your games and drag them onto LB and it will add them

I have roms on multiple local drives plus network shares you can keep your roms anywhere you want.

that is just not true LB has always had an option to leave your roms where they are already located when you import them.

If your GPU has two video ports (which it does) and you have two displays you don't really need much more BB has settings for multi screen so you can play on one display art on the other. I have a multi screen setup in my room with a 50 inch TV and a 24 in monitor in portrait it shines for playing MAME games in their right orientation. I don't know of any multi screen setup guides for LB/BB

combine roms adds clones as additional apps so say there is 5 versions of 1942 you can right click on the game image in LB and play anyone you want

There are settings for what screen to have BigBox launch on to get the emulators to do this you have to set them from the emulator for RetroArch go to settings video and change the monitor index in MAME you have to set the display in the mame.ini file.

Yeah the extras have the bezels but I think you can get them elsewhere what I do suggest you find it a samples pack which are also in the extras there are games that while not needing them to play they enhance the games with sound effects and such. in the root MAME folder there should be a samples folder you just put them in there and everything will work you can get the extra pack and only choose to download the bezels and the samples depending on how your torrent client is setup

If your on the beta you can move where LB looks for your roms from within the program now.
