  1. I haven't tried this in a while but you can try putting this in your command line arguments: %romfile% -command -line -arguments Replace the -command -line -arguments with the actual arguments you want to use for the emulator.
  2. No updates because it was never something that could be narrowed down, if you are experiencing the issue and unable to fix and want a refund you send an email asking for one and you will in all likelihood get one.
  3. Try disabling the new startup screen feature in the options, there may be a conflict in your setup for some reason.
  4. Retroarch is only for the emulators it wants to support and those have to be open source and have people to port and develop the cores. There are some emulators it won't ever have cores for.
  5. I tried that frontend briefly and a long time ago so I forget how it handled stuff but my bet would be with a lot of extra scripting work done in the backend and it would all have to be done on a per emulator basis.
  6. Don't count on it unless it's a front end that also has it's own emulators built for it. Right now it all comes down to the emulator and how things a re implemented and they are all different.
  7. For now you don't unless you use emulators that support bezels on its own like Mame and Retroarch.
  8. Well if it works at all it's entirely by accident, they are not intended to work together at all. The new startup screen feature is meant to give those people who don't use RL the ability to have startup screens without the hassle of setting up RL.
  9. Locking the thread to keep future discussion in its proper place. Great job on this @eatkinola
  10. You can't use the new Startup screen feature in LB with RL, you can only have one or the other.
  11. They don't allow the use of a VPN because the torrent file you download is tied to your IP so you cannot share the torrent file itself with other people that are not a member of PD. Your ISP generally should not care about what you download (within reason), the issue is usually when you download movies and TV shows and the copyright holders of those track you using bittorrent and send a letter to your ISP who in turn send you a letter telling you to stop it. This is not a problem with roms for the most part. Of course your ISP may care that you are using torrents and "hogging up" all their bandwidth, these are shitty ISPs. If you are concerned and want to hide what you are doing from your ISP then you should look into a SeedBox. What happens then is you get the torrent file itself from PD and you upload that to the seedbox and then you download your files from the seedbox using an FTP program such as WinSCP. This traffic is not torrent traffic and your ISP won't notice it or care, it is just seen as normal file transfer. A seedbox has the added benefit of you being able to build up a lot of share ratio without using your own internet bandwidth.
  12. No, this is not normal. The archive set should be good but I have not downloaded their Mame set, I get them from the pleasure dome.
  13. I really feel bad for people who never got to grow up in an arcade like I did, being a child of the 70s and 80s was the best.
  14. This is normal unless you get a "No Nag" build of Mame.
  15. Yeah, just import them like any other rom, just make sure your eboot is named properly with the game name so the scraper picks it up.
  16. That probably works as well, I have just been in the habit for a long time now of generating the ini file as the first thing I do with a new version of Mame.
  17. You can generate one using the command line mame64.exe -cc
  18. Usually it is located in the /ini folder and it can cause issues when loading through LB and we tell people to move it out to the main folder.
  19. Maybe your controls got reset and you have to re-enable the use mouse for trackball games in the mame.ini file.
  20. Weird, Mame should generate one automatically somewhere, usually in the /ini folder. I always generate my own using the command line and it's in the main folder.
  21. Do a search for it, it should be somewhere lol.
  22. Is it in the main folder where the executable is ?
  23. Look either in your /ini folder or in the main root folder of your Mame install where the executable is located.
