  1. Ok, was just a thought since I have never run into this issue myself and I know some arcade sticks use keyboard encoders which use keyboard button presses.
  2. What kind of controller are you using ? Are you using a keyboard encoder arcade stick ? does it only happen when 2 people are playing ? Maybe you're activating a button combo such as Alt + Tab or something similar to switch between apps just a thought.
  3. Did you enable mouse in the # # CORE INPUT OPTIONS # section of the mame.ini
  4. That link above expired I guess, here's a new one https://discord.gg/AFxfhnv
  5. MESS / Mame has controller issues with its 5200 emulation, for example, Pitfall you cannot start and Moon Patrol you cannot jump. For whatever reason these buttons just do not register with these games running. I'd recommend using Kat5200 for that system, it's relatively easy to setup and works great even though the GUI for it is kinda oldschool and ugly, but you only see that when setting it up.
  6. Try setting it for machine instead of general.
  7. I literally copy / pasted your question into google and the 3rd result was this page: https://forums.bannister.org/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=90978
  8. glad you got it all working
  9. nope you may wanna start over with a fresh mame.ini in your main mame folder
  10. lol, fair enough it did become a bit off topic didn't it. Hopefully making your changes in the raster.ini file gets you the settings you like. That is what I edited for my personal HLSL settings.
  11. First, this is a BGFX thread. Second, to make changes you should be editing the raster.ini file located in the \ini\presets folder.
  12. Good to hear.
  13. Shocking as it sounds but no one played those games back then and less do now. Sorry I am of no help to you on this matter.
  14. I just saw this in my YouTube feed today and might be a fix for anyone encountering issues, it's an updated CemuHook.
  15. I keep mine where they are located, I like to organize my stuff in the way I want it and it's all outside of my Launchbox folder. Copying files also doesn't play nice with CD based games that have multiple files such cue + bin and arcade roms.
  16. Your issue is a more general Windows issue so it's the first obvious place to look. Hopefully it solves the issue, if it doesn't then you may have to look into the specific devices themselves.
  17. It could be Windows it turning it off to save power. Go into your Device Manager and check your USB devices, right click > properties. Then go to the Power Management tab of that device and see the All the computer to turn this device to save power box is checked.
  18. Yeah it's been implemented with the new Mame full set import wizard, don't know about how well it works with GoodSets though.

That is correct. If one actually doesn't exist you can generate one, check out my mame guide here:

You have to have one, Mame generates one when you run it. Maybe you got file extensions hidden and can't see it.

It may be in your /ini folder but it should be the main folder where your Mame executable is located, if it is in the /ini folder move it out to the main folder.

Did you enable HLSL in your mame.ini ? To use this simply enable HLSL in your mame.ini by setting hlsl_enable to 1 instead of 0 and dropping this raster.ini file into your \Mame\ini\presets folder. Backup your old one first just in case you do not like this one.
  24. You made the post reminding us "that it hasn't been fixed yet". Retro808 gave you a response and you didn't like it so you got all uppity and defensive. Locking this thread now.
