  1. Arcade64 doesn't do consoles or other systems. What's in it? Arcade games only NO mechanical games (pinball, crane games, etc) NO poker, fruit, slot or gambling games NO computers, consoles, terminals, appliances, etc NO games that display a black screen (skeleton drivers etc) http://arcade.mameworld.info/
  2. Use the regular Mame, Arcade64 only does actual arcade games. What's in it? Arcade games only NO mechanical games (pinball, crane games, etc) NO poker, fruit, slot or gambling games NO computers, consoles, terminals, appliances, etc NO games that display a black screen (skeleton drivers etc) http://arcade.mameworld.info/
  3. ePSXe 2.05 runs faster on lower end hardware and the accuracy is fairly equal at around 85-90% each. Both are excellent emulators, I just choose to the RA Bettle (Mednafen) core because of better shaders and other things that RA does like lower input latency and top notch audio sync. The HW core does have a few bugs and glitches but it is best if you plan on playing 3D games and uprezzing them. I predominantly play 2D sprite based games so resolution scaling is not something I care about personally.
  4. I would suggest trying with the standard version of Mame, that is what I use.
  5. This would be extremely unlikely to be implemented because this would just be sharing rom files which is illegal.
  6. DDR3 is very slow for video ram.
  7. You got something really messed up. Your first shot is showing something about Streets of Rage 2. The second is some really weird error about a machine named 'Streets'
  8. I don't know how Aracde64 handles stuff anymore, it's been a long time since I have even looked at it but if it supports non arcade stuff then by all means use that if that is what you prefer to use.
  9. Genesis games work perfectly fine for me in Mame. You should setup a 2nd Mame emulator entry in Launchbox. You can point to the same emulator but you need some different boxes unchecked that you need checked for arcade games.
  10. Fusion has issues in Windows 10. I use Retroarch and the GenesisGX core for Genesis games but you can use Mame if you like and it does it pretty good.
  11. If you must have it under your Mame platform with your arcade games the most straight forward way I would suggest to do it is to import the game to a new platform;Sega Genesis. This will scrape it properly. If you tell it to use Mame as the emulator you may see this screen here below, if you do uncheck everything and pick Import all clones. If that worked properly you should have a new platform called Sega Genesis with your Streets of Rage 3 game in it. Right click the game and edit it, on the right hand side where it says Platform: Sega Genesis click the dropdown arrow and then pick Mame for the new platform. LB will move the game to the Mame platform.
  12. I use the Mednafen / Beetle PSX core myself, not the hardware one, but that's just me.
  13. You are trying to import a Genesis rom as a Mame / Arcade game when it isn't a part of that database so LB is ignoring it.
  14. I would suggest buying the 20$ license for now and see how you like Launchbox and then just before Christmas if you want to upgrade do it when Jason does his Black Friday sale, you will have a lifetime license for 40$.
  15. Intels on board graphics won't really be enough for 4K, I would suggest a dedicated graphics card. You don't need anything fancy at all but something at least semi modern will be needed, something with 1 or 2 gigs of GDDR5 vram will be fine. Even basic 2D sprite based games scaled up to 4K will put a strain on Intels on board graphics chip. Of course if you are willing to spend more that is always better, especially if you are planning on scaling up the internal resolution on the more newer systems like PS2 or N64. An Nvidia card is also highly recommended because of AMDs relatively bad OpenGL drivers which many emulators use. Launchbox / BigBox itself does not have a way to boot straight into it but there are other ways around this. You can go as simple as putting a shortcut in your Start Menus Startup folder or you can go so far as to do a registry edit or a 3rd party app to change your shell. BigBox is the controller driven UI meant for arcade cabinets or HTPCs while Launchbox is the management side of things, this is where you add / remove games and emulators.
  16. Yeah, Mupen64 is awesome out of the box setup to use the GLideN64 plugin and everything.
  17. Weird, cause the screenshot I posted above launches stuff in 4:3. I gave up on using PJ64 though, I find Mupen64plus much better and easier to use.
  18. Just toggle it to fullscreen and close it out and it should load in fullscreen mode the next time you load it, does for me. I also use this AHK script in the AHK Script tab for my Altirra Edit Emulator window. $Esc:: { Process, Close, {{{StartupEXE}}} }
  19. The controller setup is a bit annoying but you can have it be the analog stick. I haven't tried to setup dual controllers for Robotron because when I want to play that game I simply play the arcade version in Mame. Mame is also very good for 5200 emulation and the controller setup in that is super simple but there is a couple a of games that have weird bugs in it.
  20. If you set the aspect to 4:3 it should display in 4:3, it does for me.
  21. Are you not using the GLideN64 plugin ?
  22. Did you set the aspect ratio to 4:3 in the video plugin settings ?I also highly recommend using Mupen64plus. https://m64p.github.io/
  23. I just had a look at the docs for Rainbow and couldn't see any command line parameters to help. I would highly recommend using Altirra though for Atari 8-bit emulation. It's emulation quality is top notch and works well with LB. http://www.virtualdub.org/altirra.html https://atariage.com/forums/topic/273633-altirra-300-released/ Controller setup guide https://atariage.com/forums/topic/242107-altirra-26-xbox-360-controller-5200-mode/
  24. romhacking.net is the only place i know of.
