  1. Are Oculus games different from normal games in the way they launch ? I would imagine they just have executables like any other game and therefore easily imported like any other PC game.
  2. 7.16 is an official build that was needed to fix a problem that found its way through the 7.15 beta testing. I don't think there have been any recent beta builds since then.
  3. Quite often but it depends on how many votes it gets how fast it gets added in, the more votes it gets the faster it gets added.
  4. You can set your playlists to sort them how you like in the "Edit Playlist" window but unfortunately you can't change that on the fly in BigBox, feel free to suggest it using the bitbucket page https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/launchbox/issues/new
  5. The biggest issue with Wonderswan emulation is the control scheme, it can be horizontal or vertical depending on the game.
  6. Just dump the playlist files in the \LaunchBox\Data\Playlists\ folder and start up Launchbox, the games should be there but I am fairly certain you will already have to have the games imported in the first place. Like I said before with my playlists, they aren't a magic bullet to organizing your games but if you have the full no intro sets already it should give you a smaller list of games to check out to help narrow your list. It would be nice if @Jason Carr could implement a feature where you click a button to export a playlist into a plain list of games or even copy out games from your collection into a folder for building a streamlined collection of roms for import.
  7. Ahh yes, I guess some games do ask for the CHD files, the CPS3 games I play using FBA and you can get away without the CHD files and the other games I don't bother with.
  8. Yeah, none of those games should require a CHD, I borrowed (stole) the list from here: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,149708.0.html Anyways here is a handful of platforms and my favorites or in some cases all the games I have for them. CD based systems such as the Playstation, Sega CD and TurboGrafx CD are hand picked, same with the Gameboy Advance. Hopefully these are somewhat useful to you as a base to get you started. 9. I got a lot of RPGs and generally the "best of" sets but there are some games I don't care too much about like the Pokemon games.
  10. I could generate some playlists of my favourites if you like and upload them but of course they may not fully match up with everything you have but I have gone through my games lists and tagged what I think are good games. I have a lot of Japan games, translated roms and some rom hacks. This of course wouldn't streamline your rom collection but it would give you an idea where to start. And of course these would just be the games I like and think are good which is always very subjective.
  11. Unfortunately that cannot be done until @Jason Carr implements it. It has been asked for and I believe it's on the "Small Things" list but no idea if Jason has any plans for it or not.
  12. Well it won't mess up your rom set, the batch file creates a folder and copies the necessary roms to it leaving the original files where they were. It should work just fine with the 192 rom set if using the split set but of course I cannot guarantee it will get everything necessary but it certainly won't mess up your rom set.
  13. For the CD based systems I only use hand selected games, same for . For cartridge based systems I use the No-Intro sets since it's just easier to grab the packs and import them. I tend to avoid the old computer side of things for the most part but I do have a small hand picked selection of Amiga stuff. As for pre compiled lists that is kind of a personal preference things because there are games that I like and would put in a hand picked list that others wouldn't and vice versa. Doing your own hand picked sets for the consoles really isn't all that difficult and time consuming if you take it one system at a time. For Mame though it gets to be much more complicated, again personal preference but also the 3 different rom set types (split, merged and non merged) but I have upload a batch file that you can use to copy out a hand picked set of games into a folder for easier importing. You can find it here but keep in mind it's made for use with the 182 rom split set of roms so it may or may not work exactly as expected on your rom set. My suggestion to you is to use the playlist feature. Using Launchbox mode take it one system at a time and go through them and add games to a playlist for that system and then set up BigBox mode to load straight into Playlist view.

  15. Just make a platform and call it whatever you like and import the shortcuts to your apps like Plex, Kodi, Chrome and Firefox, they run just like any other Windows game. This video tutorial will show you how to import non Steam PC games, just use the same steps but instead of importing game shortcuts, import your apps.
  16. Yeah, I saw the recent release and all the games added to it, nothing of any real interest to me but still good to see it for those that are interested. I guess for now you will just have to upload manually if you want to contribute.
  17. Yup, just register to be a contributor and upload your stuff, it will be moderated by a team of moderators specific to the database. Unfortunately right now you have to make a separate account for that, @Jason Carr did mention something about tying the accounts together into a single sign-up / login but I am not sure if that ever happened or when it will if it hasn't been done. https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/account/signin?returnurl=%2fgames%2fadd There is also a plugin that @UnderwoodNC created to upload it from your Launchbox if you have the information already added into your setup. Looking at the comments for the plugin it seems there may be some issues with it so use it at your own risk, uploading manually could be more reliable. I personally stay away from all the database stuff, I leave it to others who are more qualified and interested in that sort of stuff.
  18. There is one, it just needs some work filling it out. https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/platforms/games/143
  19. Good luck, hopefully you find a good solution and can report back with it, I know people have asked about this in the past.
  20. Yeah from what I saw unless the program itself has a setting for which monitor to use its kinda tough to do.
  21. I searched "choose which monitor a program launches" and someone linked it on a site I pulled up with someone asking a similar question.
  22. Not sure if this will be of any help at all for you but a quick Google search did turn this up https://autohotkey.com/board/topic/41463-simple-dual-monitor-window-switch/
  23. Well like @DOS76 said, the Clean Up Images will remove images but other stuff it won't for now, feel free to submit a bitbucket feature request under the Help & Support button at the top of the web page.
  24. Cue + bin is what Retroarch and Mednafen use for Playstation, Saturn, Sega CD and PC Engine CD games. Though they do support some other disk image formats cue + bin are the most common. As for Launchbox not deleting other files beyond the one imported this is a feature and extremely unlikely to change in the future, Jason does not want to be guessing as to what else to delete along with the imported file itself as that could run into very serious issues.
