  1. No need to make two posts about this, I deleted your other thread.
  2. A few more though some I don't know how well they would work with non analog controllers. Axiom Verge Castlevania Mirror of Fate Cuphead Freedom Planet Hyper Light Drifter Moon Huntress Temobo the Badass Elephant
  3. Oh geez, there's quite a lot actually but off the top of my head. 4. Something is really messing it up for you, what kind of controller are you using ? I just tested Panzer Dragoon Saga using my Xbox 360 controller and controls set to 3dpad and it works perfectly fine.
  5. Your Playstation save files aren't compatible with a newer version of Mednafen ? You have a bad disk dump and it messes it up for other Saturn games ? That is also very odd though I haven't really used Mednafen for Saturn since it first supported it, I switched to Retroarch once they got their core up and running. Still very odd though cause for those first two weeks of ironing out the learning curve I still never ran into that issue and I had a lot of bad disk dumps.
  6. Not sure if this is causing your issue at all but it's something that came up doing a search on their forums for a similar issue: https://forum.fobby.net/index.php?t=msg&goto=4878&&srch=saturn+system+screen#msg_4878
  7. Yeah that is extremely strange and I have never run into that issue at all.
  8. If one games works and another doesn't its most likely that the one that doesn't is a dump that Mednafen doesn't like.
  9. You can use it and it shouldn't touch any of your fave files, after all they are Saturn games and not PSX and your Retroarch save file location is different from Mednafen.
  10. I cannot reproduce this problem at all. I loaded up 3 different games multiple times each and each time they just went right into the game, no system setup screen at all, not even the first time I ran it. Have you tried the Retroarch version at all ?
  11. If it actually loaded a game once and then the next time it just goes to the bios setup screen that is weird. I have never seen the stand alone version do that at all but the for a long time the Retroarch version did that the first time you loaded any game and after that first load of a game it would be fine. However that issue as since been fixed with the Retroarch version. I'll grab the latest version of Mednafen and see if it does that for me as well.
  12. Most likely your disk images are incompatible. Mednafen is much pickier over it's disk image dump quality, look for dumps from Redump or Darkwater.
  13. Hopefully someone gets you an answer on this because I have a lifetime license so I have never seen that message or had to deal with it.
  14. There ya go, missing platform entry will do it
  15. Ahh, yeah at the emulator level it won't work, it needs to be extracted first. With the extract rom box checked it will extract it to a temp folder and run it so it should work that way through Launchbox with them zipped. But again keep in mind this is just my best guess because I don't have any of my stuff zipped, I prefer to have it all extracted for faster loading and I have enough drive space.

You may want to look into Altirra, its the best overall and easiest to setup Atari 8bit emulator. http://www.virtualdub.org/altirra.html
  17. Not right now but it is on the "Small Things" list so maybe it will get added.
  18. Not sure because I have mine all unzipped to begin with. But if I had to guess you either didn't have the "Extract rom archive" box checked or the cue sheet was looking in the wrong place for the bin files.
  19. No idea but always possible, @Jason Carr sort of does these things as surprises and are never planned beyond in his own head.
  20. Dreamcast emulation is like N64, we got multiple good options but no perfect option. In both cases the emulator choices are good and emulate most stuff but you will need a mix of emulators to cover the vast majority of the games.
  21. If no one gets back to you by Tuesday let me know and i'll send an email to @Jason Carr.
  22. I actually prefer the same colour border since it identifies them as buttons and they look unified. When I see wheel buttons that have different coloured borders it looks wrong to me. But this is all personal preference of course.
  23. In this window did you have the "Combine ROMs with matching titles into a single game" box checked ?
