    What MAME romset have you got ? If you are trying to use roms from MAME4DROID they will not work, you need latest MAME set (or a recent one at least) to work on the MAME core.

    Agree, This should be priority No1 imo. Big setups take forever to load up and performance can be sluggish, so any improvements would be a bonus.

    Agree, this is the simplest way to do it unless you want to import all the games again. Suggest you also backup the xml just in case you have any issues.

    Yes, but they all still get picked up correctly by Launchbox, as I do this all the time.

    Try using EmuMovies Sync for the videos , logos etc if you have EmuMovies as it's very fast, even with small single items like logos, snaps, videos etc You can then untick these from your main search via Launchbox which will speed up your overall time.

    That done the trick, thanks I thought that changed when you selected the roms folder when you first setup the system, but obviously not. Yet something else I have now learned

    I only played a couple of the games so far, but the look and design of it all looks good.

    Thanks for info. I was hoping someone found an online app where you could place a blank silver ring and then put any background behind it. There are lots of imaging sites to do almost anything, but that is one thing I still have not found they can do.

    Try and put your games in the games folder in Launchbox and try importing them again.

    When downloading metadata/media on latest beta Launchbox is using nearly 100% CPU and crippling my pc for nearly 20 minutes as it clears the image cache. ps, It has done this on 3 separate occasions now. Only noticed this issue on the latest version LaunchBox-11.12-beta-2

    Just remove the tick in the text box on the right hand side of the screen to remove the name.
