  1. Wasn't sure where to post this, so here goes. In Launchbox, not BigBox - and on the default theme - when browsing your games, using the arrow keys can move the selection up, right, down and left.. what I can't seem to figure out is of there's a way to make it drop down to the next line in order.. for example, if I have 5 games on my top row, and I'm at game #5, I can't hit left and go alphabetically to the 1st game in the next row - I have to back up 5 and drop down.. I realize I can use my mouse, but sometimes I just like to browse games in order.. Thanks!!
  2. Very nice, thank you for this! Just curious, any plans to give the same treatment to FX2 and/or The Pinball Arcade sets?
  3. Is there any way for me to change the game details window, to re-arrange the order in which screenshots display? I'd prefer if the Title screen could be 1st in line, as it were. In addition, in the details area, where it lists Ratings, File, etc - I've noticed that for no reason, it will wrap the File and Play Count to a second row to the right of the left-side row - no rhyme or reason why or for what game - even when there is plenty of room. Any way to force them all to the left-hand side, so they're all in a list? My Thanks!
  4. I was hoping someone could help out. The Queso addon is missing the folder for Windows, so while the theme video itself shows a nice widescreen TV, the game view theme shows the standard square video border for Windows. I've re-downloaded and doublechecked all the theme files, and the entire folder for Windows is missing from \Images\Theme\Addons\_Computers. Can anyone else verify this, or you have the files could I get them? Thank you!
  5. Would I be able to get this clear logo cut out from this image? Thank you in advance!
  6. That did it. Unckeched Auto Populate, loaded BB, came up right and proper. I wonder why that did that.. Thank you very much!!
  7. None of them show their respective game list theme images no. Here is my xml for it. MAME Fighting.xml
  8. It's in the top left of the picture I just posted, thank you!.
  9. I have those. I am using the default ones that came with the Unified Theme - in the Launchbox\Themes\Unified\Images\Theme folder. Fighting Games has files for the Background, Logo, Pointer and Videoborder - they are named the same as the MAME Fighting.mp4, which does show It's just the game view for playlists that aren't showing right, for some reason. The game views for just a regular platform show up fine. I thought maybe it was an issue with it being nested, so I moved the playlist directly under the ARCADE category, but the same issue occurs. I'm at a loss what I'm doing wrong. Thanks! This shows my playlist xml's and the files, for example, for the Fighting Playlist I apologize for the crudity, I'm not much of an image editor
  10. Hoping someone can nudge me in the right direction - not sure what I missed. I've recently been playing around with Playlists for MAME, and I have them set up the way I think I want them - The problem is in BigBox, using the Unified Theme. My theme views for the Playlists don't show up. Platform Categories are showing, MAME is showing, the Playlist theme videos are showing, but when I go into the Game List, it's the Default MAME game theme for every playlist. Like the Image shows, the playlist video under MAME is Fighting, which chose, but when I choose it to go into the playlist game list, it shows the default MAME game theme view. I have checked all the png names, and they are correct. It does this with any of the playlists I have. Any ideas? Thanks!
  11. I debated posting this, as I don't want it to come off as a criticism to Launchbox, it's not. Merely my tale of woe. Like others, I'm particular in the way I do things. I have and do use other frontends and programs, and so I tend to keep my media and roms all after the same name. Until the past few days, I never had a problem with Launchbox and the way it treats media. So, I decided to try to clear up some image folders. Launchbox, as you know, creates folders for MANY image types, per platform. I actually don't use many image types - generally a box, cart, logo, gameplay snap and video. In trying to clean up some of the extra folders, I came upon the brilliant idea to point any media folder I wasn't using to a JUNK folder in the program's directory. This worked a treat. No more extra directories under my platform images. What I wasn't expecting, because I had never personally witnessed this behavior... was Launchbox deciding to go and rename every single media file I have to it's specifications. Thousands of files, all renamed, all made useless for anything except Launchbox. I understand that it will do it, after reading other posts on the forum - but there was no warning in the program that this would happen - or why. I don't understand why it would touch a folder of files that it had been using with no issues before, and rename everything. Anyway, I've spent the past few days trying to use emumovies/fuzzy rename to repair it, but I still have SO much to go through... Anyway - still love the program, still intend to use it, just a lesson to learn!
  12. Thank you very much for your work on this, it's great!
  13. I thought so, I must have been doing something wrong then. Thanks!
  14. I'm probably missing something easily fixed, but I'm unsure how, or if, it can be done. Can you have different Platform Clear Logo's, and different Platform videos for different themes? Say, for example, if I want to switch between Unified Redux and Refried, without moving and deleting files, is there a directory structure to use to have both sets of videos/logos? Thanks!
  15. I for one, thank you for these! Very nice, and I appreciate your hard work with them!
  16. Wow, thanks! I really appreciate it
  17. Understood, if it can't be, it can't be. Thanks for your time with this
  18. Jason, I don't know if it's an issue, or can be remedied.. the pointers don't seem to be working except on the lowest level They show up on the bottom nested level, but not anything higher. I could swear this worked before, but maybe it was a different theme? I have included pics. Ignore the black backgrounds, the wheel faded out too quickly Platform Category Platform Wheel Platform Playlist Gamelist Wheel - Pointer shows up.
  19. Ok. So essentially, what you want is the game view to look the same as the platform view? Which is not possible, as Neil said, since the platform view is a full screen video.. you would need to have to make a full set of game views to do what you want.
  20. Hope I can help, I use this theme myself. This theme only has the first 2 views themed. Platform View 1 is a full screen video with scrolling text (details about the platform scroll along the bottom) Platform View 2 is full screen video without this scrolling text. The other 3 views aren't themed, so don't look right. What exactly are you trying to do? I apologize, but I don't understand from your wording what you're attempting to do.
  21. Dumb question perhaps, but I'm curious why this theme has so many different folders, example - Unified Refried - Arcade, instead of just one folder, Unified Refried. Is there something in the theme that requires each platform to be seperate? Thank you for all your hard work!
