Have we been cleared to record the Hyperspin themes after all? I remember there was some kerfuffle over that. I've been recording some myself for personal use, but I'd love to share them. Won't be the cinematic themes but the regular ones, but still themes.

A theme using Hyperspin Cinematics in both system and game menus. Some don't have cinematic themes, so the snap video just plays instead.

Oh for sure, it'd be a massive pain. But theoretically, gifs could be used in conjunction with videos to create some cool themes per game one at a time by various members of the community. Each uploads their work to the download section and boom. Over time, a lot of games could be themed. I'd be into creating some from gifs.

Now that's smexy, These gifs open theming to a lot of possibilities. Not sure if you already answered this, but can these be implemented per-game and not just per-console?

Hi, is there any relatively simple way of reversing the side that the main menu wheel appears on? As in, have the semi-circular navigation wheel on the right-hand side rather than the left? Thanks

I'd pitch in to that. I don't mind paying for the themes--work is work, and this Mr. Baker has done some wonderful work--but I have no interest in Hyperspin itself anymore. Only its themes as they apply to Bigbox. $50 seems steep to pay just for some fancy video intros by themselves. Out of the ten listed benefits of being a Platinum member, I'd be using 1 of them.

Is there currently a way to choose what video shows up when you hover over a platform in the main menu? Right now it jsut shows a random game video from under the "videos" section of launchbox. I have intro videos I'd like to use as the exact video that shows up on the main menu instead. Thanks!

Looks great! Thanks for sharing, I love the videos on the console's tabs and not just on the games alone.

Nice theme, jenova. I would consider removing the orange dots along the left-hand margin, though. They kind of clutter up the left space. I'm also not sold on the text directly about the SNES image, but it does give it a sort of retro feel, so I don't mind it much. Thanks for sharing this.

Not sure if this is the place to post this, but here goes. Regarding Snap videos, we may have an alternative to Emumovies, but I'll clarify right now that I am not sure if these are FROM emumovies and reuploaded or not. A youtuber with the channel 'Arcade Forever' has posted literally thousands of Snap videos all sorted by playlists to his channel. I've been batch downloading them using YoutubeMultiDownloader.com (can download full playlists at a time) in conjunction with IDM, then bulk-renaming them (just removing the first couple words) with Bulk Rename Utility. Downloads all of them at once, gets rid of unneccesary wording, then boom. So far they've worked without any extra, erm, work. The amount of videos this fellow has uploaded is rather staggering and thorough, so I figured I might share this with others. Again, I DO NOT know whether this dude took Emumovies videos and reuploaded them or made them himself. Just the messenger in this case. Cheers

As someone who's been using EmulationStation but stalked these forums for some time, I'd like to say thanks for this awesome idea. LaunchBox + Hyperspin themes - the complication of other frontends made me finally take the dive and go premium yesterday. Can't wait to see where this goes from here. I can't contribute much to this endeavor (can provide 20-30 second preview mp4s of gameplay if anyone needs, but that's it) but I just thought I'd pop in to wish y'all the best of luck with this.
