  1. Neo Geo is probably my favourite system for the same reasons. Luckily for me I had separated all of my Neo Geo roms in a folder back when I set up RetroArch on my Wii back in the day. I know it's a bit of a painful process, but for Neo Geo it's worth it ?
  2. I think it has to be a "game" in a platform at present.
  3. I never pay any attention whatsoever to scores in games
  4. I just had a look at it on Youtube, impressive graphics for the NES.
  5. Looks nice, like a mixture of Castlevania and Strider
  6. Sorry to bump an old thread but I had to come on and mention two games I am playing at the moment; Shovel Knight and Limbo. Really enjoying both games, Shovel Knight is right up my alley, I love the pixel art, the music, and the homages to various old school games. I can see Mega Man, Duck Tales, Castlevania, and Mario 3 in there. Limbo is a game I had never gotten round to playing even though I had heard all about it on release and was aware of the positive reviews that it had received. A really good platform/puzzle game that I found very hard to put down. Similar to Shovel Knight, whenever you die in the game it is your fault and not due to poor game design or bad controls. You just have to learn each time from your mistakes and there is definitely that elusive "just one more go" feeling that every games developer wants to create. Two great games in my opinion.
  7. Great release, I shaved 2.5GB off my images folder and transitions between platform categories, platforms, playlists, and general navigation is much smoother than before. Also, Big Box boots in 6 seconds with a collection of over 9,000 games ?
  8. @Zombeaver and a few others made clear logos for some different genres. I don't think the playlists were as popular as we were expecting though in the end.
  9. Yep, and @lordmonkus' tutorial is pretty much the best one on the internet for RA.
  10. My controllers have always just worked when I launched RA as it loads the autoconfig file.
  11. Also, the technical writer in me really wants @Jason Carr to group all of those "View" menu items under the one heading and have them as a sub menu.
  12. It'll be done when it's done.
  13. If you are making a fighting game playlist, be sure to share it with the community
  14. This is a good idea and has been mentioned previously here on the forums. Someone has created a Bitbucket ticket for it also, so I would suggest you give it a vote and see if @Jason Carr might consider it in a future release. https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/launchbox/issues/2603/controls-icons
  15. WiiWare is worth adding for the exclusives, yes. Having games like Castlevania Rebirth, Gradius Rebirth, Contra Rebirth, Lost Winds 1 and 2, World of Goo, and Mega Man 9 and 10 in Big Box is pretty cool. I added mine in my Wii platform as opposed to creating a separate WiiWare platform.
  16. It didn't create CPS1, 2, and 3 playlists for me but I already had them as platforms, so maybe that was it.
  17. The reason this is happening is because LaunchBox imported the 4-player version and this version emulates the original 4-player machine whereby you could only select the specific character for each joystick you are using. In this case, you are probably stuck with Leonardo. If you right click on the game and edit to point LB to the 2 player version, you will be able to select any character as player 1. I had to do this for Sunset Riders aswell.
