You should always import the .cue files to launchbox. So yes that was the issue.
  3. We have had a small handful of very vocal users that have wanted this, but when it was on a community poll know one cared and it got hardly any votes. As for it being a single line of code, thats not true at all, it would actually be a major overhaul of the interface and backend code as everything would need to know that its possible to load into a app directly rather than opening a new wheel, so a complete re-structure of Launchbox and Bigbox would be required. Hence it hasnt been implemented as so few users care about having it so it is not worth the dev time/money currently.
  4. Well to be honest you are the only user that i am aware off to ever bring this up, so i really dont think that most users even care where there images go, and in fact most users just use the built in downloader which names and places images in the correct location automatically, and leave it at that.
  5. No, that popup in your image is from the xbox game bar which is part of windows 10, it is nothing at all to do with Launchbox.
  6. The database is based on the American naming unless a game was released in another region and not in the US, so unless explicitly specified on the database all regions are American.
  7. Do the images you are adding have any text in them specifying the region like (USA)? Because if not how is Launchbox supposed to know the region? Also if you are manually adding images why not just add the directly to the folder you want them in instead of going through the UI?
  8. Turn off hints and tips in Windows.
  9. Yeah that is one of my favorite themes that i use a lot on my desktop setup.
  10. 4GB of DDR3 RAM isnt really a lot to run the OS and dedicate RAM resources to the IGPU also. However i would look in the bios and see how much RAM has been allocated to the IGPU and increase that if you can. At the end of the day though Bigbox is displaying multiple things simultaneously so more RAM the better. Also that IGPU is having to do a lot of work if you are trying to have videos playing as well.
  11. Launchbox/Data and delete InputBindings.xml.
  12. It uses their API to access their sync server.
  13. Yeah it was moved to a new server and is hugely faster for me here in the UK now.
  14. Just scroll to the empty cell at the bottom and add it, that is not a exhaustive list and can be edited as you see fit to meet your personal needs.
  15. If you are really desperate you can edit this line in the settings.xml, just put it back a day, so replace 8 with 7 and save it.
  16. If you already updated it today you will have to wait as Launchbox only checks for a new metadata file if it was more than 24 hours since the last update.
  17. That is because i was searching in my Windows platform so it prioritizes that version. The only reason you were seeing the switch version is because thats all it could find in the entire database. Launchbox will search the specific platform you are in for the game, but will expand that out to other platforms if it doesnt find it in the platform you are in.
  18. It was because it wasnt in the database package you had yet, as Jason said the package was out of date, as soon as it was updated it searches just fine. I just scraped mine by typing Yooka and it found it no problems at all.
  19. You should probably post this in the actual thread for the bezel project.
  20. Bigbox is always updated along side Launchbox as they are two different parts of the same program and are just the one installer. So if using a newer Launchbox you are also using a newer Bigbox, so you will get the expired license message. As i said you need to be on a version of Launchbox that was released during the time your license was active, I would have a look in your Launchbox/Updates folder to see if you have a old installer, of course if you recently downloaded Launchbox again you will not have any old version installers. If that is the case you can send a email to support@unbrokensoftware.com and explain the situation and request a installer that will work with your license.
  21. This is how it works, so it sounds like you are trying to use a version of Launchbox that was released AFTER your license expired. As is stated you will keep access to Bigbox forever, but updates will stop after the year, So if you are using a newer version than what your license was for then it will tell you it is expired. You need the version of Launchbox that you were on back in September/October 2018.
  22. What do you mean here? There are two license types, a yearly and a forever. It sounds like you bought a one year license that is now expired.
  23. Its simply not in the database yet. The database is only updated once a day server side, i'm sure if you check back tomorrow it will show in a search.
  24. Retroarch allows them, just like on windows, so no need.
