  1. No you would need the re-builder as thats what you want to do. You would have to run the scan as normal so it knows what you have, then use the rebuilder but specify a different set style.
  2. The reason it actually looks like it added games is because the MAME fullset importer works differently to the other importers. While it does ask you for a rom path it doesnt actually check if there is anything in that path as it uses MAMES own data to identify the games. The other importer for normal rom files will only import what you have in the location you specify however, but it's assumed if you are running the MAME fullset importer that you do in fact have a fullset.
  3. I think you follow mostly the same steps, but there is a option for the set type. So you would run the scan then tell it you want the different set type. Thats about as much as i know though.
  4. Launchbox does not supply any roms/games, you have to source those yourself.
  5. Could it be that the device ID is passed to the OS differently if it is on the motherboard compared to how it is via a Plug & Play USB device?
  6. Some of those .xml's look like playlists, are they actually platforms named like a playlist, or are they in fact downloaded playlists placed into the wrong folder?
  7. Could it be that the same button is mapped to select and exit at the same time, so when you "Start" a game its actually "Exiting" the program, hence the clean shutdown of Bigbox?
  8. You should scrape that platform as Arcade to get the best coverage. Which specific image types are you missing? Could it be that you do not have "Advertisement Flyer - Front" as a option in your image priority settings? Obviously being a Arcade system there were no "Boxes" for them, so flyers are used in most cases.
  9. Actually Jason was asking for a image of the platforms folder specifically, not just the Data folder, so if you can open the Platforms folder and image that it would be great, thanks.
  10. We don't have testing threads for official releases as they have supposedly been tested by that point, hence the release. Clearly though it seems a lot of people who download the betas dont actually test them, as some issues got through that were not reported in the beta phase, so tacking it onto the most recent beta thread is probably the best place for it.
  11. Because these versions followed very quickly and were put out to address issues people were having in this thread. 10.5 contains fixes for the exact things mentioned in here so is very relevant to the discussion.
  12. The Launchbox database does not host gameplay snaps. It looks like he posted them on Youtube, so i would rip them from there.
  13. More likely it's not being written to when you close the program. You will see any changes you make but they are not written until you close the program.
  14. Because it needs a specific xaml to know to spin it, go to the theme folder and copy paste the PSX one and rename it to match your wii u system name.
  15. You will need to manually copy the extra files.
  16. Did you look at the compatibility tab at all?
  17. Many programs. Nvidia shadowplay, and OBS to name two free ones.
Holy moly, get in here people with theme inspirations.
  18. Neils non excistent appreciation for star wars increases. Thanks dos.
  19. Agreed, @RULLUR have you tried right clicking the emulator exe and overriding the dpi settings in the compatibility tab? EDIT: Or the disable full screen optimization toggle i mean.
  20. For example look how small the actual gameplay is here.
  21. Because a theme videos has the gameplay in a much smaller window, so if the actual Bigbox theme being used only has a small window for a game video, then in that window a theme video is shown, then the actual gameplay would be absolutely tiny.
  22. lol, always pictured you as more of a Vader than a Skywalker.
