  1. Launchbox saves data when you close the app, how are you closing it, you're not force closing it or simply turning off your PC while the app is open are you? Also what exactly is the error saying is corrupted, is it a xml file? If so which one?
  2. No, you need to allow installing from unknown sources as we are not on the play store. There is no way around this, it is just a setting though and as long as you trust the file, nothing to worry about.
  3. I believe @MadK9 compiles these for Arcade only and he doesnt compile for other systems like what is in a software list and the like, he would need to confirm though.
  4. Sounds like your roms are named incorrectly, neogeo is mame so the roms should have mame short naming, and those will never contain a /. NeoGeo games should have MAME naming as i stated, and "scraped as" arcade in Launchbox, and with the box to use "force use mame naming" checked, if you have full names, and actually in your case two full names separated with a slash then yes those wont match as there is no such game, could try removing the / and everything after it so its only one game name and not two also.
  5. Yes, you have been able to do this for years with the bezel project, just get them from their github.
  6. In your first image you have your Arcade platform set to extract roms, that will break any arcade games no matter the emulator/core, MAME/Arcade games always load the entire zip to the core/emulator.
  7. PUAE 2021 is a new core designed for low power devices, as its brand new it's likely @Jason Carr will need to add it as a option. I'm not 100% on how it works for Retroarch, but i know other emulators have to be manually added first so that Launchbox is aware of them.
  8. Right click it/Additional Apps/click on the version you want as default and click the "Make Default" button.
  9. Much more likely its a issue with the version of Android being used by GPD, those Chinese devices often have bad and out of date versions of Android installed. The fact that Launchbox works on the other two devices you have would back this up, as well of course all the other users using it just fine on their devices.
  10. Go to that folder in Windoes, put *.cue in the window search and drag and drop the results to Launchbox to start the import wizard with the cue files.
  11. You dont have Launchbox extracting your roms for that platform do you? That will break Arcade games.

    Button Mapping

Control settings in Launchbox/Bigbox are for those apps only, any emulator controls need setting in the emulator itself.
  13. I would, then when you have the romset downloaded, which will likely take several hours run the mame fullset importer, point it at that rom folder and let it download and configure mame for you.
  14. Thats a torrent magnet link, you need a torrent client installed first, then when that pops up your torrent client should pop up and say hey this is a torrent do you want to download it.
  15. You have PC games that are in cue/bin format, so thats weird. So that is a CD rip using old cd ripping software, you would have to find some software that will mount that in a virtual drive (or physically burn it to a cd) in order to access the contents of the disc. You are probably also gonna need a cd key or a nocd crack as im assuming you didnt rip these yourself so dont have a official key. If you are, ahem acquiring these online, i would pick a better source that simply has the setup files rather than what is designed to be burnt to a real cd and used like a actual physically purchased game.
  16. There is no real setup, they are PC games, and you are on a PC, you can just drag and drop shurtcuts/.exe files to Launchbox to import them, and choose the "none of the above" option in the wizard that opens.
  17. google pleasuredome github io, thats the official place for mame romsets.
  18. In Launchbox right click the platform in the left bar and delete it, if it asks to delete media you can keep that to save yourself a bit of time later. Then just run the standard rom importer and point it at a FBneo emulator and not a MAME one if you want to continue to use that romset. Personally id just go and download the current MAME romset and use our fullset importer which is far easier, but entirely up to you.
  19. OK, well a Final Burn romset is not a MAME romset, the clue is in the name, so you are using the wrong romset if you are trying to use a MAME emulator. I should also add that FB is not a "Full Romset" it is a subset of MAME roms designed to work on very low power devices, there are a ton of great games in a MAME romset that are missing in that romset. If you want to keep that romset then you need to use Final Burn Neo as the emulator to make sure that games work, and preferably a version of the emulator that is the exact same version as what the romset is, and you would need to delete that platform and import again using the standard rom importer. Also as another wrinkle did you use Launchbox's Mame fullset importer? cause that will cause issues too, its obviously designed for MAME and not FB, and it doesnt scan your rom folder at all, it gets the working game list from the emulator itself and adds those games, so if you used that you will have a ton of games "imported" that are not even in your romset (NARC may be one of those but i dont know, i would assume it is in a FB romset but i cant say for 100% off hand).
  20. Have a look at the command lines for the mame emulator entry and remove the parts that mention dinput or keyboard provider. You are using such a old version of MAME that those commands didnt exist yet, so your MAME 0.145 doesnt know how to process the commands so just exits.
  21. You should never run Launchbox as administrator, while it seems to help with Cemu, it will break a bunch of stuff with Launchbox. Turn it off and try to work out the actual issue with Cemu.
  22. Or you know use a actual good N64 emulator.
  23. But MAME is different to any other romset and downloading random roms from the internet is just gonna cause you headaches as you try to find the right emulator version your specific rom is for. If you download a full set, which can be as small as 70GB which is nothing in relation to bandwidth or storage these days, then you are guaranteed to have working roms, which would make threads like this irrelevant.
