  1. It could be because you have it in your program files folder, try it somewhere else. Program files is a lot more locked down than other locations on your PC.
  2. Its also possible Retroarch isnt setup correctly, or its not calling the correct core, or the associated platform isnt correct. All number of potential reasons really. So could you be more descriptive than "it didn't load up at all".
  3. Yeah im at a bit of a loss here then, i have never used fba personally so i really dont no if it needs any additional settings or not. It's possible it needs a specific commandline or different boxes checked/unchecked in the manage emulators screen. Also i assume the games work directly in fba without going through Launchbox? Have you tried using the fba core in retroarch at all?
  4. Well thats a different path than the error you are getting, the error says Launchbox/Games/A, where as the actual game says Launchbox/Games/Arcade, which is correct?
  5. Can you show the edit screen for it, like this.
  6. Yeah, that clearly says that it is trying to load a game called "A" there is no such game so that aint gonna work. FBA uses mame roms which are zipped and have a short name for the file.

Then your games are not using that emulator, the default checkbox is for imports only. Click a game then ctrl A to highlite them all, ctrl E to open the bulk edit wizard, choose emulator in the first dropdown, then the one you want to change to in the second.
  8. It works fine, if it is not for you then you are doing something wrong.
  9. Controller automation works with any emulator you have added to Launchbox. You just need to add that script in this case as not all emulators will close correctly.
  10. Nope, the controller automation in Bigbox sends the escape key to exit emulators, that AHK scrips will therefore send escape to epcsxe when you exit with your controller automation.
  11. Paste this into the Auto Hotkey tab under manage emulators. ; This section closes Demul when pressing Escape $Esc:: { Process, Close, {{{StartupEXE}}} }
  12. If these image descriptions are not good enough for you then i dont know what to tell you, they say EXACTLY what the image type is.
  13. The image types you choose are remembered for future imports. So you can just check the images you want to download, and those will be remembered for every future import.
  14. Just tested those two games here with a split 0.207 and they work just fine. Have you told MAME where your roms are located?
  15. Also to add you will need to rename them to remove all the underscores that get added when uploading to the forums.
  16. EDIT: lol, you posted at the same time as me. Glad you figured it out.
  17. Is your monitor running at 30hz rather than 60hz? this can happen sometimes with a new OS install so your games could be running at half speed and therefore the sound will run slow also.
  18. Launchbox has absolutely zero input on your audio settings, so that would be a waste of time.
  19. Standard debit cards also work, which come with basically every bank account on earth.
  20. Close Launchbox/Bigbox navigate to Launchbox/Themes/Default and delete the themesettings.xml there and try starting Bigbox.
  21. From the thread ill link below, Golden Tee Fore! is one of those romless games which are made up of a bios file and a chd - there is no conventional game rom. The game's rom name as MAME's internal database reads it is actually the name of the folder holding the CHD file. This type of game works fine when run directly from MAME, MAMEUI etc., but LB has an issue as there is no game rom as such to point to. You can't point LB to a folder name Your game consists of a bios file (iteagle.zip) and a chd file. I don't know which CHD you have as you didn't specify which version of the game you are using. Use Notepad to make an empty text file named the same as the game's CHD folder. Make sure you use the folder's name not the chd file's name, as sometimes these are different. Next either rename it's extension to ZIP or just send it to a ZIP. You now have a ZIP file with the same name as your game's CHD folder. Put this in with your MAME roms and point LBox to it. Your game should launch fine now.
  22. Did you move your emulator? Either go to Tools/Manage emulators and make sure it is pointing at the correct location. If it is then click a MAME game then ctrl A to high lite them all, then ctrl E to open the bulk edit wizard, in the first dropdown choose emulator, and in the second your MAME entry.
