  1. Can you check that your antivirus is not blocking the install?
  2. You are using version 9.5 right? because that has no issues installing on Windows 10, in fact its our recommended OS as it supports the new .NET which we use out of the box. I just tested installing a fresh version myself here, im using the latest insider build of Windows 10 as of 16/02/2018 so its a build i only installed two days ago so is a very new build, and Launchbox installed just fine as expected. Here is a video of me installing it. 2019-02-18 11-11-20.mp4
  3. The scan for new games scans in your Launchbox folder by default. If you have your roms elsewhere you need to tell Launchbox where they are and it will then remember to scan that folder. To be honest i have never used the scan for added roms feature, i just added what i wanted originally, and if i need to add something new i just drag and drop the files onto the launchbox window.
  4. Here is a example, in this i am removing the (USA) in the roms name. so you can see in the lower highlighted red box i have put (USA) and in the replace box left it blank. Then in the top red highlighted box you can see the original name and then what it will change to if i confirm it.
  5. Yeah launchbox has no idea what it is, but it removes the filetype when importing. So it is removing the .zip, but because there is also a .z64 before the .zip its keeping that in the game name. Basically your roms have two filetypes in the same name, which is silly and confusing the scraper.
  6. This is how mine are named, Gamename (region).filetype
  7. OK i see your issue, you have the file type in the game name, that should not be there. They are .z64.zip so Launchbox thinks that .zip is the file type so is keeping the .z64 in the file name, hence not matching the correct name. I have no idea where you got those roms, but i would suggest unzipping them all and re-importing. I think you will find you get art for everything that way. That is a really strange way of naming the roms that you have, i dont know who's idea that was, but frontend software of any type will struggle badly with that naming scheme.
  8. There was really no need to create another thread on this issue. Your GBA issue has been explained why there are no images in that thread, so are your N64 the same? i have media for all my N64 library, there is plenty of art as long as your roms are not stupidly named and therefore can not be matched to games in our database. The games simply need to be named somewhat correctly, there is some fuzzy matching going on if they are similar, but if they are named crazily different from the actual game name how can our database be expected to match them correctly?
  9. Yeah your issue there is definitely those numbers at the front and not our database, you need to remove those as Launchbox is searching the games with that number as well, hence it finds no match. I use bulk rename utility for that sort of thing. https://www.bulkrenameutility.co.uk/Download.php
  10. It should save the image added, but if you dont delete the image its currently using as well then it will likely continue to use the image it was already using. Also if you are replacing images remember to refresh the images otherwise the old cached image will still show.
  11. Its probably just the case that we do not have European box art in our database. The priorities will prioritise a region, but if that art is not available it will pull the US art if available. Hence "priorities" and not a outright "choose region for art". If you want to replace images then yes you need to drop them in the correct folder, or use the edit on a game and navigate to the image location, so dropping images into the folder is the easiest way.
  12. Right click it and "expand selected games".
  13. All good on my end now, thanks again.
  14. Excellent, thanks for taking the time to take a look at the issue, it is much appreciated.
  15. Yup, i dont know if it is our end or emumovies, so i PM'd circo, and also brought it up in our discord earlier (before you started posting in here)
  16. Custom themes are not restricted in any way, and pretty much every theme has the view you want, including the nostalgia theme you show in your image. You are either on the wrong view for that theme, or you do not have clear logos so it is defaulting to standard text. I can 100% assure you that the Nostalgia theme supports clear logos in the correct view.
  17. Yeah, i actually noticed this myself the other day as i deleted my whole image folder and re-scraped everything. I though it was a issue on my end at the time as all other platforms scraped just fine. Then i saw this thread with the same issue, so i moved out my GBA image folder and scraped just emumovies for 3D boxes, and it just grabbed a few DS 3D boxes instead.
  18. I tested earlier just using emumovies to scrape for 3D boxes, and it only pulled a few and they were for DS not GBA, as per my image in my previous post.
  19. You need to switch view, all themes have more than one view and they all have that text view.
  20. I wouldnt be to sure about that @Retro808, I have just messaged @circo about it.
  21. you dont merge the old addon themes, there are new addon themes for 2.0 that you merge into the default 2.0 theme.
  22. Yes, a premium emumovies subscription is required for gameplay videos. Images are downloaded from both our database and emumovies with the free account, but we do not host videos in our database, that is emumovies domain so we leave that to them.
  23. If they are downloaded from within the Launchbox UI they automatically get put in the correct location. So they must of come from somewhere else. Glad you got it all sorted though.
