  1. Yeah thats fair enough then. Yeah i forgot that that feature was already added to the betas,so yeah that may be what you are looking for.
  2. Why would you press it multiple times???? Multiple startup prevention is planned to work in conjunction with the startup screens though. For now you could try just pressing it once.
  3. Check your associated platform for that system, it sounds like retroarch cant load a core so just exits. As Jason said it also works fine for me here, so it sounds like a emulator setup issue.
  4. Thats down to the theme developer to implement.
  5. Updated to version 1.0.4 which adds the new shutdown screen. Launchbox 9.2 Beta 4 or above is required for V 1.0.4 and above.
  6. Updated to 1.0.3 New: Moved images around and added two new ones. There are now three images on the top row from left to right, 3D Box, Clear Logo, Screenshot. The bottom row will have in the bottom right either a Cart Front or spinning disc depending on the system. If you have a disc system i have not included you can just copy/paste one of the existing disc system xaml's and change the name to match your system.
  7. When startup videos were first implemented there was a option to set the delay time, but when the startup videos were improved and the option to skip them was added the timing option was removed.
  8. Launchbox and Bigbox have seperate themes and can not be mixed. Bigbox themes go in Launchbox/Themes folder and are changed in Bigbox by going to Options/View. Launchbox themes go in Launchbox/LBThemes folder and are changed in Tools/options/visuals. Also they have to be unzipped before they will work.
  9. Yup, the startup screens are coded a certain way, but simply enough that even i posted a file on the forums. Image priority's help immensely here people. Check your, Tools/Options/Game Startup, and your Tools/Options/ "any image type" priorites.
  10. @vaderag, try moving the game wheel up or down one game first then switching themes, and see if it switches.
  11. There is just the option to turn on or off globally currently. Options/Game startup.
  12. I would doubt very much that real saves would work on PC, its likely a completely different file type.
  13. You dont need to re-download it, it just looks like you didnt unzip it correctly so it has underscores and version number on it which shouldnt be there. The theme folder should look like this. and it should have these files directly inside it on opening.
  14. Your theme is named wrong, it shouldnt have underscores in it. Edit: Or you havent unzipped it correctly more like.
  15. For unzipping other system zips, but MAME you must load the whole zip file.
  16. You do not extract MAME roms, uncheck that option.
  17. Uploaded version 1.0.2. Change log: Increased the size of the images and also added some more CD based systems to get the spinning disc on there startup screens. Added CD based systems. Increased image sizes.
  18. The emulator needs to be in exclusive fullscreen mode for the moment, and looking at your Animal Crossing window i see the Dolphin menu bar at the top of the screen, so it is not in exclusive fullscreen mode. This is why you get a black screen. Per Jasons first post in this thread. "The startup screens currently do not work properly with emulators or games that do not use fullscreen exclusive mode (such as Project64). For most of these emulators, the startup screen overlaps the emulator and never shows the game. Pressing Escape should close the emulator and the startup screen to get out of this state. Fixes are coming in the next beta."
  19. Just to add to this also, while i am not currently i did run Launchbox and Bigbox for quite a while at 4K and had no crashing issues. I have also seen a few people around the forums also running 4K just fine. I would take a look at that GPU as it only has 2GB of ram that could be a issue when trying to run at 4k, That is actually very little VRam for this day and age, it would be considered very low when running 1080p content, let alone 4K at 4 times the resolution.
  20. Yes there was a black Friday sale. As for other sales i have no idea, there have been sales from time to time but i am not privy to them and they are usually announced on the day, not beforehand i'm afraid.
  21. You dont have to sign in to anything, Launchbox is DRM free. You will upon purchase receive a License file via E-Mail which you drop in your Launchbox folder. You will be OK to take your Hard Drive to a friends house, but you will not be allowed to share that license with them. Although Launchbox is DRM free we can still block licenses if we have deemed that they are being shared.
  22. Make sure you actually have fanart for the games you are testing, and also that you dont have background fade set to 100%.
