Thanks for the report, you can post that error log into this thread it would be appreciated (the dev is more likely to see it there) You can go into the options and uncheck the remember my last platform or remember my last game and uncheck them for the time being. Thanks for the feedback.

Well you are more than welcome to request it be added. Just click the help and support at the top of the page and request it there.

controller companion has its own keyboard built in, does it not? I don't see a browser being added to Launchbox to be honest with you, there is no demand for it, and as you have learnt yourself you can just add bookmarks or any browser you wanted to Launchbox anyway, just launch chrome or whatever from Launchbox then use controller companion to type the address.

It's not a wrapper, someone in that thread I linked thought they needed one but all they needed was the command line functions. -g should load the game -f should make it full screen etc. you just need to add those specific commands you want to use into the command line section of the manage emulator section for your 1964. Sorry I can't help more than that but I have never used 1964 before I either used project 64 or for a much longer time and currently the Retroarch core.

I found that at this link, it's for another frontend, but should work just the same in Launchbox. https://www.gameex.info/forums/topic/6457-1964-wrapper/?tab=comments#comment-47534

Try adding -g to the command line in your edit emulator screen.

Hi and welcome to the community. I can not help with your specific issue at the moment, although I will look into it. However that is not the only emu that works well, I use the retroarch glupen64 core and I get 60fps at 1080p resolution.

Hi @eatkinola, one little issue that I have noticed in my very limited testing so far. I have the default box image set to 3D Boxes in the Bigbox options, Nostalgia seems to be ignoring this and showing all boxes as Box-Front. So I am having to manually go into each platform/playlist and manually switch to the correct image type. This was working just fine in the previous version.

I am just downloading. Thank's for the update, that is a big changelist so I look forward to testing. P.S. thank's for the SNES Euro and the megadrive much appreciated, I couldn't look at that grey/purple monstrosity much longer.

Hi @Jason Carr I have just hit that startup video getting cut short issue. This is the first time that I have personally seen this issue since you changed the startup videos to use the program rather than VLC, so I am not quite sure why it has just happened, although this was my first Bigbox launch since updating to version 7.13. Edit: I think it cut the video off the moment that Bigbox finished loading as when the video was cut off Bigbox was ready and I was able to navigate immediately.

I can't provide you with a link due to copyright issues, that's why I said to google It, it shouldn't be hard to find.

Clear logos instead of boxes showing for one platform only?
neil9000 replied to DaveC's topic in Troubleshooting
If you go to Options/controller buttons you can set switch image type to a controller button. Then just highlight your GBA platform and use that button to cycle through the image types. -
Cool glad you got it working. Bear in mind then that if you are downloading individual roms that you will need a bios for all the different arcade cabinets. It may be worth you googling "MAME bios pack" so that you have all the bios for all the different type's of arcade cabinets.
-
Leave it zipped and put it in the MAME/Roms folder.
-
Also what neo geo game doesn't work for you? I'll check it on my system. I'm still using 0.186 though.
-
lol, correct neo geo arcade games will need the neo geo bios. Just drop it in the MAME/roms folder.
-
If your roms are version 0.184 then try version 0.184 of MAME so that they match up, also do you have the neo geo bios?
-
Correct, Launchbox is just a frontend and does not come with any emulators, you will need to provide those yourself. As for your neo geo games, you say you have MAME emu version 0.191, are your roms also from version 0.191? MAME can be very fussy with roms, so in general your version of the emu should match with the version of the roms you have. Do you have a current MAME romset? Oh and welcome to the community.

Yeah that should work fine, that's what I was asking as it won't work without software like that. I'll go and track down a version of xebra and test on my system.
-
Are you using any 3rd party controller software as playstation controllers don't work natively on windows, some programs accept input from them but that needs to be coded into the specific program, and i'm betting that zebra doesn't have this feature.

I don't believe this is possible, you can have Launchbox display a playlist as a platform, but it's still technically a playlist and the xml stays in the data/playlist folder. So rocket launcher won't know that it's there as I assume it is not looking at the playlist folder. I don't believe it will work by copying the xml to the platforms folder as the platform and playlist xml's are coded differently. The only thing I could suggest is to ask the rocket launcher dev to update the rocket launcher launchbox plugin to check the playlist folder as well as the platform folder in launchbox.
