I am also using Retroarch for N64, I have never personally used Project64. It does seem strange that controls for the other N64 games work OK and that specific game doesn't, they should be the same across the board.

Yeah absolutely, but that is a lot more work. Maybe when Jason gets around to the parental controls he has talked about it can all be rolled in together. So user accounts will have restricted access to mature rated games and there own retro achievements login.

Yeah that's a good way to do it, I am the only user on my system, but I could see that being useful for people who have more than one user.

They do have some modified emulators on there site you can use, however Retroarch has support built in, and a good selection of cores already support Retro Achievements. I have been using them in Retroarch for quite a while now, so this will just add a nice place to easily see what achievements I have without having to go to there website.

The import name matching is stricter than the edit game matching. This is to ensure you don't get a load of mis-matched games on initial import.

I believe so yes, it may not automatically display them though, it depends on what version of MAME you are using. If you have one that is not displaying, you can hit tab while in a game to bring up the MAME menu and scroll to video options and it should be selectable there.

Its actually very easy in MAME, you just need the zips and they go in the MAME/artwork folder.

Hi and welcome to the community. You will need a keyboard attached to do this. Load the game then press TAB on the keyboard which will open the mame menu and go to Input (this machine) and set your controls in there.

Could be a windows scaling issue?

Are you two using any antivirus that may have quarantined the program, and therefore stopped it from launching?

I have never noticed imports being that slow on my end, importing 5 games has never taken 20-30 minutes for me. However I do get slow speeds when updating the program, I am on a 40Mb connection and the program updates regularly take 5-10 minutes (for a file size that would take about 20 seconds or less from other sites or download services) I have even have it take up to 30 minutes for a program update before, but that is a outlier time. In my case it does seem to be somewhat location based, I am in England, and when I have mentioned it to other people here who are in the USA and they say it is lightning quick for them, so I can only guess that it's quicker in mainland USA than it is elsewhere in the world.

You can go to tools/options/region priorities and check the box for Japan then move it to the top of the list, that way if a game has a Japanese box it will display that as priority, if there is no Japanese box in your images it will move to the next region in your list, and so on and so on.

That is emulator dependent. You set Bigbox to open on the other monitor and it does. If you want emulators to open on the other monitor also then you need to specify that in the emulator. Of course this will fix it to that monitor all the time, until you change it back. Unfortunately this is a emulator issue really, the way I deal with it is I just mirror my desktop to two displays.

When you say Bigbox won't launch what do you mean exactly? As I previously stated there is no reason for all of your settings and images to vanish, it just doesn't happen. So I am confused.
