No cause you will still have the original right? So you have two PS2 files there, one normal and one backup? Have you used Skraper?

My guess is you have some platform backups in your Launchbox/Data/Platforms folder. You can not store any other files here than what is actually being used, do you have any backup files for platforms here?

Just drag and drop the .exe and choose the "none of the above" option in the wizard that opens, then just name the platform and finish out the wizard like normal.

Looking at your image your roms are named badly. The one in the image is named "BC Racers 32X" that 32X should not be there, or if it is it should be in brackets like (32X). The way you have them Launchbox is searching the database for a game called "BC Racers 32X" and there is no such game so it finds no art.

Most of the Naomi games do not work in MAME, so are not imported when using the fullset importer.

Try closing launchbox and going to the Launchbox/Data/Playlist folder and manually deleting the files, see if that sticks. How are you adding these MAME roms? i'm assuming you are not using a fullset and are grabbing individual games from somewhere?

9.10 is 18 months old at this point, so there have of course been many changes and improvements in that time, and a lot of things have been completely re-written in that time to allow for future feature improvements as we were limited by the old views.

OK, and is that EXACTLY what you called the platform when you imported it to Launchbox as it shows in the left sidebar? Those have to match exactly, it's even case sensitive. Other than that i can't help as its not a platform i emulate personally, but i do know many people have it working just fine in Launchbox.

Have you added this platform to the associated platforms list for your Retroarch emulator entry, it is not there by default and without it Launchbox does not know which core to use for the platform?

As far as i know nothing has changed in regards to these playlists from 11.8 to 11.9. This actually sounds more like the playlists are not actually being deleted than anything else, how are you deleting them, and have you checked that your playlist folder hasnt been set to read only for some reason?

The dev's do not frequent the forums to much as they are busy developing, we also often get hundreds of posts a day, so its easy for things to get missed. you will just have to wait for a reply, but it could just be that no one knows the answer to your question.

My guess would be a antivirus quarantined the file, so it was technically in use by the AV. By default you should never need admin rights to install updates, so thats my guess.

Startup themes are not compatible if you have fades turned on in rocketlauncher, its one or the other. The fact that steam works which doesnt use RL, and nothing else does that does use RL leads me to believe that you have fades on.

It is a feature, Launchbox is file agnostic, it will import the files you tell it to. You just need to drag and drop the eboot.bin to Launchbox and then rename it in the import wizard to the correct game name (which is what the plugin does for you i believe). As i stated in my first reply it is the eboot.bin that needs importing, you imported some .SFB file, that's not the eboot,bin, this is why games do not launch from Launchbox. If you add the correct file it will load just fine.

It does apply, i have different settings for Gameboy than i do for GameBoy Colour for example. As i use different options for each, such as ghosting on the GameBoy and not on the Colour, and different colour pallets depending on GB or GBC. Simply saved as Content Directory Overrides.

OK that is the issue, although Retroarch can absolutely be used, it cant be specified at import for a MAME fullset. Launchbox generates a file from the mame.exe in order to get a list of working roms to import, (so that you dont have 6800 games imported of which only about 2800 of actually work in mame). Once the import has been run you can then switch to any emulator you would like to use. So the error was due to the emulator specified and nothing else, if you do in fact have a fullset, then import that against the matching version of the mame emulator, and switch the emulator to Retroarch after the import.

Are you running any antivirus like Norton? If so have you checked to see if it has deleted any Launchbox files?

If you only have a few roms you shouldnt use the fullset importer, that is for a fullset which is more like 3000 roms, you should use the standard rom importer but check the box in the import wizard to use mame metadata. Also are you using the standard MAME standalone emulator, as i think that error is because you are not?

I first commented when you posted because you were accusing a database submitter of being a troll, and i said that that didnt seem like trolling to me, and i would of approved the image in question as well. Since then you have continued to argue with everybody who has commented, you just cant seem to stop arguing and telling us that your own opinion is the exact correct one and should be followed while everybody else's opinion is irrelevant as it is contrary to your own.
