Is there a way to set the scraper to name my images and videos to the ROM name?

This script saved me so much time and labor... Is there anyway to prevent or suppress multiple messages such as these to keep the script processing without stopping.

You might want to try switching themes. I’ve noticed that LaunchBox runs much smoother and avoids crashes when using the Default Plus theme compared to heavier ones like Big Details 2.3, Omni, or Rincewind. Many BigBox themes seem outdated and could benefit from code optimization and better compatibility, so stability can vary. Recently, Vision 1.2 and City Hunter have been the most usable for me, though they still suffer from some lag and occasional crashes.

On 13.24.1 Beta, running Scan for Added/Removed ROMs on the Sony PSP platform never advances after adding ~2,000 .iso/.cso files it sits at “Searching for Sony PSP Roms…” for over an hour with no visible progress. If I delete the platform and re-import the same folder via the normal Import wizard, it completes successfully in less than 20 minutes, so the issue seems specific to the delta scan. I’m on Windows 11, default theme, debug logging is enabled and I can share logs. Is this a known issue or is there a fix/workaround to get the scan to complete faster or see progression without re-importing?

When updating MAME from version 0.278 to 0.279, the import process only brings in 4,602 ROMs regardless of whether “Skip All Prompts” is checked or unchecked. (Non-Merged Set, 24000+ roms in directory) I completely deleted my MAME platform and all auto-generated playlists before this test, so this was a fresh import. The same result occurs every time. Is this related to any other reports?

Is there anyway to hide the Splash screen when opening the app? Currently using it to display magazines and comics?

I’ve been using the Aetherial theme in BigBox and really like the overall style, but I’m hoping to modify it to resemble the ArtFlix theme from RetroBat/EmulationStation. I’m talking about that Netflix-style layout with the platform info on the left, a big background image or video behind everything, and the vertical platform logos lined up on the right or carousal. Right now, no matter which vertical wheel option I select, the wheel always stays on the left side. I’ve started digging into the PlatformHybrid1View.xaml file and have moved the platform wheel to the right but it's tiny or horizontal, but I’m still working on shifting everything else to match the ArtFlix look. I’ve cleaned up some tag issues along the way, so the layout loads without errors now. If anyone has tried something similar, or is familiar with tweaking XAML layouts in BigBox themes, I’d really appreciate some help or advice. Even better if someone wants to collaborate on building out a proper ArtFlix-style mod of the Aetherial theme. Let me know if you’re interested or have any pointers. Thanks! The new Aetherial theme still is non responsive when I select it as a main theme. I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing this behavior. I have reinstalled it multiple times and just recently updated to the stable build with the same result.

Can confirm BigBox has some bugs - Theme options does nothing with clicked, Roms do not launch etc. Rolled back to 13.21

Compressing the GC games with Dolphin is taking an incredibly long time... I have about 600 more games to compress. Is there any magic trick or sorcery to speed this process up?

Yes, I can open a game 1 at a time just fine. Is the folder option not for multiple iso's. On the developers website it shows more than 1 iso loaded on that view.

I'm unable to compress multiple files using the Gamecube Iso tool @SentaiBrad suggested. When choose the option folder then point to a particular folder with 2 iso's it gives the following error that I need " boot.bin." I can load single iso's to the application just fine.

Is there a gui program available to batch compress multiple Gamecube games in there own folder? Is there a GUI program non command line app available the batch compress ps2 games to CSO?

Is anyone else having issues deleting games. I select all the games from the mame platform and then select delete. I see the program starts to not respond then the games disappear. I click on another platform and then I see mame disappear. I reopen the program to see lauchbox have mame readded back. This happens for Mame (9000+ games) , FBA (4000+ games) and Amstrad CPC (4000+ games).

I've tried using bluemsx core directly from Retroarch but it just closes retroarch as soon as I try to play the game.

Scaping my whole library of about 24000+ roms I'm getting 404 server errors for about 3000+ files.

@SentaiBrad Yes, I was asking about Colecovision and I have applied your suggestions but it still does not launch from launchbox. I have all the bios in the correct location if not then I wouldn't be able to open Retroarch load the core and game without error.

Unfortunately, it loads to a black screen with gray text displaying 0000.

I don't have anything in the command lines which is probably why it's not loading correctly... I'm not sure if there needs to be a custom command to load the games and if so where would I find the commands to use?
