  1. I've noticed that if a game in LB has either an & or colon in it, RL won't find the assets for that game. Not too big of an issue, I just have to rename the offending games, but you'd think the RL team would have thought of that lol.
  2. I changed it to "\Cart - Front" and it worked, thank you! I had no idea those files could be edited, I guess I should stop looking for normal file extensions and just start opening everything that looks like a config file lol
  3. That would be awesome if it's possible! I never thought about editing the AHK files, I'll take a look at them too and see if I can figure out anything.
  4. I thought about doing that, but won't that change all of my clear logos in LB to carts? I wish RL had more options for customizing the fade screens and pause menu.
  5. It took me a while to figure out how to align and constrain the clear logo size in RL, and I can't seem to get data like Last Time Played and Play Count to show up, but here's what I've got so far. I wish there was a way to show cartridge/disc art. I feel those don't get displayed enough in BigBox, unless you're using certain themes like NoshOnThis and CriticalZone.
  6. That worked! Thank you so much! This is going to enhance my RL/LB set up so much
  7. I agree, we really need all of the game details in the audit tool. How were you able to get RocketLauncher to work with LB's media and data? I can't seem to get any LB info in RL's fade screens.
  8. This will put CxBx Reloaded into full screen after launching. You can change the app title to whatever you want, to make it work with other emulators. #NoEnv WinWaitActive , Cxbx-Reloaded SetKeyDelay, -1, 110 Send {Alt Down}{Enter}{Alt Up} Return
  9. Yup that's how I had it too, the reflection was too much for my system. Good to know I can turn it back up.
  10. Thanks @Jason Carr it works perfectly again
  11. @Jason Carr I get this error whenever entering a platform in BigBox, I'm on 7.11 beta 11. This has been happening since yesterday's update. If I go back to beta 9 everything works like normal. 12. Ok I kinda figured it was because you're left handed. That's interesting the cabinets in Greece were like that, I wonder why. Very awesome arcade cab! I can't wait to see it with the bezel glass.
  13. Nice! Why are the controls swapped?
  14. CriticalZone with the same "cartridge/disc overlapping Box art" view that NoshOnThis has. I love NoshOnThis, and use it exclusively because of that view, but I wish it was a bit more simplistic and elegant like CriticalZone. Here's an example of the view I'm talking about:
  15. I import multi disc games and let LB combine them. Then I change the path of the first disc to an m3u file I created. That way I still get the ability to swap discs in RetroArch, but I also get the option of selecting discs in LB/BB. I also change the names of each disc under "Additional Apps" so that they say Disc 1, Disc 2, ect.
  16. LaunchBox reads the cache files, if you make changes you have to refresh the cache, why is that so hard for you to understand? Also calling people fanboys for no reason is a pretty douche thing to do, especially when that person what trying to help you. You are clearly confused, or a troll, likely a troll. That developer who "must be living in a paradisiac Island right now" does weekly live streams, and no, he doesn't live on an island sipping mojitos. He works his ass off making LB what it is, which is a damn amazing program. Please go back under your bridge troll, you suck at what you do.

    joy2key vs xpadder?

Here's the script, it has kill commands for other programs in my system like RocketLauncher, and various emulators. You can edit the cmd file and add or remove any programs you want, the commands look like this: Taskkill /F /IM JoyToKey.exe And if you run the vbs file it will launch the cmd file invisible, so you don't have the command prompt popping up Just put the 2 files in your LaunchBox directory and run Start_BB.vbs Start_BB.cmd Start_BB.vbs

    joy2key vs xpadder?

That's my main reason for not using the Steam controller config. In fact, Steam has become so invasive with it's controller mapping system, that I have a script kill Steam before launching BigBox.

    Here's my Citra config Citra.cfg

    joy2key vs xpadder?

I've used Joy2Key, Xpadder, Pinnacle Game Profiler, Controller Companion, and a few others, and I find Controller Companion to be the best mapper overall. However my LaunchBox setup relies on RocketLauncher for everything, and I use Joy2Key for mapping the guide button to RL's Pause menu, and it works great. Xpadder didn't work with the Xbox Guide button, I'm not sure if that has changed. I've never had issues with Joy2Key, it's extremely stable.
  21. No I deleted the cache first. I figure if it loads faster with out the image cache, it will be even faster with it. A big issue with my setup is I have created disc and cartridge art for everything, and I saved everything as uncompressed PNGs, so the images are like 10 x larger than they need to be. I need to find a bulk utility to convert them to compressed PNGs. But for now switching to a faster HDD has definitely helped the situation.
  22. Yeah there's definitely a difference in my setup. Before artwork would stutter when scrolling really fast, especially in themes that display both the box and cart/disc art at the same time. Now there's rarely any stutter.
  23. Thanks this came in very handy. I needed to move my images and videos directories from a 5400 RPM to a faster 7200 RPM drive, but didn't want to move anything else, this worked perfectly!
