This issue is on the list of items to take a look at to find the cause. Once we are able to get to it, we may reach out if we have any specific questions.

I'm in need of anyone willing to test this new version of the Colorful theme and report back any findings. This version of Colorful - Light is a complete port into the COMMUNITY Theme Creator. It's about 95% complete. Once complete and tested, it will replace the versions on the forum and within Big Box. One of the most notable things missing is the styling on the alpha-numeric index. The theme has a different name and won't conflict with the current version of Colorful. Colorful - Light Theme New - v1.1.zip -- v1.1 has been released and now contains a ton of changes: Text Games View has been overhauled with viking's new design Platform Wheel 1 and 2 have been overhauled with viking's new designs Updated colors throughout the theme to include new systems and playlists Tons of small bug fixes The overhauls are big changes, and now include device images that need to work in tandem with the Colorful video set.

Tbh, I don't know where the colours come from. I'm guessing it comes from the videos that were created either by viking or someone in the community. You could always try an eye dropper program to capture the colour from the video.

Hi @warney23. This looks a lot like some kind of graphical glitch, maybe caused by video drivers or some software on your Oneexplayer? I'm not sure if someone else has that particular handheld and has figured out the cause and a solution for ya. Does this happen with every theme? I have seen a video on YouTube of someone running Big Box on the same device and it seemed to work surprisingly good. If you do find a solution, I'd be interested to know what it is.

Hi @drewjbx, There's currently no way to control when a platform video starts playing, or volume control changes on bootup. A theme could be created that delays the video to start after a few seconds, but that's up to a theme developer to create. Feel free to use the Request a Feature link, in the Help & Support menu above.

Beta 2 is now out with the following fixes: Fixed - Correcting errors related to opening LaunchBox right after closing it Fixed - Corrected various null reference exceptions (introduced in 11.16 beta 1) Fixed - Correcting issue that caused several new lines to be added to strings (namely notes) with multiple returns in a row We recommend that you restore your data folder from a backup in order to remove the extra lines that were added to your notes. I haven't watched the video you were watching, but maybe the person was pressing the "Add" button that's located on the Buttons Bar at the bottom of LaunchBox? You could also right click the main area and press "Add" as well. Out of curiosity, which video were you watching?

11.16 Beta has been released:

Hi @Hollingsbee. There is a current issue when importing thousands of games at a time while scraping media from emumovies due to a 15 minute timeout issue with their api. We do have a potential fix coming in the next beta. I'd recommend importing your mame set without downloading media. Then download media afterwards in smaller chunks.

Hi @MetaRidley42 I've never tried it, so someone may correct me, but I believe it should be as simple as: In LaunchBox make sure all discs are combined into one game. In LaunchBox make sure you enable "Use M3U Playlists for Multiple Discs" - this can be found in Manage Emulators > Dolphin > Associated Platforms In Dolphin, enable "Change Discs Automatically"

Yup, @C-Beats is also correct. Using the built-in security of Big Box would allow you to lock out the add to playlist option, and so much more. It's basically our version of a parental control/kiosk mode.

This is not currently possible in the way you are saying, just because of the fundamental way Big Box views work. However, you could potentially fake it and make 1 view look like 2 different views. There's limitations to this, so it all depends on what exactly you want the 2 views to look like.
