ABeezy's Sony Playstation 2.5D Front Boxart View File Hey all, Wanted to give back another set of art to the community since I have collected so much from others. This set is similar in style to my other set that I previously released for Dreamcast. Its a front boxart in a "2.5D" style. For this pack I need to make note again the jewel case is not my creation but has been modified slightly for my tastes. I also need to mention the creator of this artwork (pre jewel case), Wally Wonka. He created and shared an excellent uniform PS1 set with matching PS1 labels for perfect uniformity. I have taken his 2D PS1 front boxart set and have applied the jewel case to them. Also a shout out to SomeGeezer for helping with Adobe Photoshop Actions making this process easier! In this pack it includes most all of the NTSC Sony Playstation retail games. It is missing all the Lightspan games (learning, language, math, etc. as the box art is hart to find and I felt most people wont care for those games as is) as well as demo discs. Everything else should be included but I am human so there is a chance a few oddballs slipped through the cracks... if you do see something missing or that is inaccurate please let me know. One last tidbit, there is a different case to match how multi disc games were released. Hope everyone enjoys these as it brings a more cohesive look to your collection along with my Dreamcast set! ABeezy's Sega Dreamcast 2.5D Front Boxart View File Hello everyone, There are a few other Dreamcast sets that do exist out there however the difference here is the resolution is much higher and the set is uniform. This set will be part of a uniform series with other platforms to come that use the same exact jewel case style template along with same size dimensions and high resolution artwork. This set like all of my sets includes a uniform "Dreamcast" banner (both white and black spine games) when scrolling through your games for nice uniformity. This is all 247 released NTSC Dreamcast games following the no-intro naming scheme. When dropping these in your Launchbox build there may be a few boxes that do not autoload due to the name differences between how Launchbox scrapes the games and what no-intro names them. Therefore you may have to manually update a few images to your liking or use an alternate name within Launchbox itself. Also contained within this set is a second folder with an additional game that received an alternate cover! This should cover everything but as always if anyone notices any errors please let me know. Enjoy! Submitter ABeezy13 Submitted 05/01/2020 Category Sega Dreamcast

Enjoy! Hey everybody, So I have completely updated my Dreamcast NTSC 2.5D box art. My original Dreamcast set was not very good being one of my first sets I did and it was in need of a higher resolution set for better viewing. I have gone ahead and redid this set with much higher quality images. These files are much larger in both size and dimensions and provide for a better viewing experience so I suggest you download these and delete my old set (or any Dreamcast set you have as per usual its probably the best out there). This is all 247 released NTSC Dreamcast games following the no-intro naming scheme. When dropping these in your Launchbox build there may be a few boxes that do not autoload due to the name differences between how Launchbox scrapes the games and what no-intro names them. Therefore you may have to manually update a few image names to your liking or use an alternate name within Launchbox itself. As always any issues with any images please reach out. Few other small updates too: Updated spine logos on both black and white label Dreamcast games for accuracy. The few games that came in the double cd/thick jewel cases are now represented correctly. Few other minor tweaks. Feel free to also check out and download my Dreamcast disc art which can be located here. (coming soon)- 4 comments

If you dont mind me asking... few more questions. In his video when he highlights a game it shows a box with rating, etc. I dont have that, how can I get that? And when scrolling the through the systems, the wheel/ribbon whatever it is called shows the system logo/graphic. Mine is just text. how do I correct that? (Like shown in attached picture)
-
Awesome, that worked. Thank you very much!
-
So I downloaded the three files for the systems I have games for at the moment. SNES, Megadrive (Genesis), and N64. I placed the three files within the themes/colorful/videos/platforms folder and they dont seem to be showing up. Do I have to refresh or update or do something else? Pretty rusty with big box lol
-
I have been out of the Launchbox/big box game for a while. I just recently purchased a forever license and was importing my games, getting everything set up etc. Anyways, this theme is INCREDIBLE. I downloaded it (beta 0.7), dropped it in my themes folder, launched big box installed this theme and when I scroll through the consoles (only have 3 right now) its not loading up any thing on the right side or showing the console logo's etc like the video. I didnt edit or mess with anything. I tried updating from within big box didnt fix it it either. deleted the entire folder tried again, same thing... any ideas?

Love that darker high contrast pallete Jegeroel! Looks great!!
-
I was just curious, I LOVEEEEE what you got but some times easy tweaks for personal preference/taste make it all the more sweeter Didn't mean no disrespect I love the red, its awesome! Just figured I would ask if it was something simple to fix on the user end after downloading the theme!
-
I'm so excited for the competition of this theme. It's incredible curious, as I ever dabbled in any of this. If we downloaded your theme when it's complete is it possible to edit stuff? For example the colors instead of red or different font etc? Obviously for personal use only
-
Well I tried again and it worked fine, so not sure what that was all about. So disregard
-
Probably better off asking this somewhere else so if so feel free to redirect me... but just opened up BB and there is an update, hit ok to download, got an error. SO I closed and opened LB to try, hit ok to install the update and same result, it failed. The error I get is "Unable to download update: An exception occurred during a web client request." Anyone know what that exactly means and how to fix it?
-
Thanks Brad! That works like a charm!
-
If I brought in a game and it doesn't look to have found any box art or anything of the such... how do I re scrape just that game and not every game? I think it was an error in the title of the game so I fixed it and want to see if it will pull in all the data now. EDIT: Or is there a way to look through the database to see what exists that may be a closest match? So if I didnt know what was wrong with the title I could browse and find the correct one. EDIT AGAIN, FIGURED IT OUT SO NEVERMIND
-
Thanks man I appreciate it! That should help out! I like a clean minimalistic look
-
What makes GluPeN64 better than Mupen64? Just curious.
-
Thanks guys! I appreciate it! Going to ask another quick question. I wanted to know that because I am going to reimport my library and delete all the PAL, JAP, EU, etc images for my games so they only have the NA images. However when I imported before I turned off all the "fan art" I didn't want all of that in the background on Launch box. However in Big Box when using themes that have screen shots and videos I will need to make sure I download that stuff when I import right? I just did not like all those images showing up on the background in the standard Launch Box. Also for videos if they are used in the theme I downloaded do I have to pay for an account on emu movies or whatever it was called that they pull from?
-
Holy smokes I love this. Clean, simplistic and very well made! I am going to be keeping an eye on this thread no doubt!
-
In Launch Box if I highlight say all my SNES games and delete them does it automatically delete all the downloaded images associated? So like fan art, box art, cart/cd art etc? Or do I have to go into where it stores that and delete the folders? I am re-doing something and want to start fresh with that as well. Curious the easiest way to achieve this? Pretty much want to delete everything associated with the roms/games EXCEPT my saves.
-
I did a new nightly build, copied only my saved games folder. So pretty much started from scratch. Everything seems to be working correctly again with my bluetooth controllers. So weird. That is seriously my only gripe with RA is the shoddy connections and configurations with controllers and such (at least wirelessly). But yes just copied my saves and did the new install. Hopefully it doesn't wig out on me again after time I really appreciate your help as always kind sir!
-
Thats whats odd... thats what I did when I started setting this all up. Got everything pretty much working no issues. Now my controllers wont work. They are connected blue tooth but they worked before... then boom just stopped. I have went to where you said and made sure everything is set like it should be but no luck. If I did a new install can I copy all my saves and such? And just attempt to re-do all the core specific configs I had saved? EDIT: I just deleted a config and started to re-do it looks like that fixed it.
-
^^^ Anyone have any suggestions... sucks not being able to play lately
-
Ugh the frustration continues... now none of my controllers will work on RetroArch. Not even for single player. The d-pad works but the face buttons to select and go back in the RA menu or any buttons to play a game just don't work... I don't get it. So frustrating as LaunchBox is so awesome and fun... no idea what to do. tried several things such as deleting the bluetooth connection, re-connecting, tried wired controls. I tried deleting the default config file and "restarting" RA and setting it up and no avail. I just don't get why this is acting up so disappointing.

Wow I never heard of this thing.... pretty cool. I am a sucker for tech and always buy stuff on impulse. Must...resist!
