  1. Version 2.0.0

    761 downloads

I am back after some time off to continue perfecting some of these box art sets... here to share my next console in my "2.5D" DVD style set... the Microsoft Xbox!!! There are a few other Xbox sets that do exist out there however the difference here is the colors are more accurate, the resolution is much higher and the set is uniform. This set was complied from a few very nice full high res scan sets. This set will be part of a uniform series with more platforms to come that use the same exact DVD case style template along with same size dimensions and high resolution artwork. This set like all of my sets includes a uniform "Xbox" banner when scrolling through your games for nice uniformity. This is all 850(863)* released NTSC Xbox games following the no-intro naming scheme. When dropping these in your Launchbox build there may be a few boxes that do not autoload due to the name differences between how Launchbox scrapes the games and what no-intro names them. Therefore you may have to manually update a few images to your liking or use an alternate name within Launchbox itself. Also contained within this set is a second folder with 20+ games that received special edition releases or were part of a combo pack. This should cover everything but as always if anyone notices any errors please let me know. Enjoy! * There are 863 NTSC Xbox games. However on the official DATs 13 games are marked as not being released in North America which drops the total to 850. Through my own research it appears they were actually available and sold in North America. Therefore, depending if you want to include them or not I separated these 13 files into their own folder.
  2. I am still alive and well, working non-stop on art for over a year many, many hours a day I have stepped back to take a little break and enjoy other things in life. I have multiple high-res sets in the works that will be posted and shared here once they are complete so follow me, or check back on my page every so often to see if any new goodies have been dropped!

  3. I have multiple high-res sets of art, a lot of them on larger systems with 1000+ or if not, close to images, The database (in my opinion) is littered with trash, I stay away from it and recommend everyone manually download their desired image files and places them into the appropriate image folders within Launchbox. Sadly it has to be done on a per-game basis and even then the lesser quality from my experience will still also be there. The database is not all that well maintained and hard to satisfy everyone. This is every licensed NTSC game boy advance game though (except 1 that I have not found a proper image for) so for anyone interested in these its best to remove all the images out of your GBA box front folder and paste these in, then do a CTRL+A in Launchbox on GBA and refresh right click refresh all (or press F5)
  4. Welcome, clad you enjoy them, I assume you mean *box fronts though as these are not my cart sets None the less thanks again!
  5. This was my second set of art that I released and Thrill Kill made it in by mistake. I only do official games. This set also is not named with no-intro naming as it should be, I ought to reupload with the total released games (1286) and their correct naming. Therefore I wont be doing prototypes or unreleased games at this time. There will be an update at some point in time though with some variations to box arts and how they were originally released.
  6. Oh, and my vote goes to V3 or V4.2
  7. @viking Your updates from the last few pages are the fricking amazing. You are knocking this out of the park and improving your theme by a country mile! I love it all!!!!! But dude, you HAVE to include a view like what I attached. I just did a quick dirty mock up with my game boy box art and cart art to show you how good it looks! I hope you consider making this a view!!! (Since you said you may not make this view)
  8. More box art in the works!

  9. D'oh, didn't even think of that, thanks for heads up!
  10. Wow this theme is amazing, excellent work!!!! I see where you got some design inspiration from, especially on the screen shot for GameCube/Zelda Any chance you can share the community files so we can tweak this for or own builds?
  11. Thats looking slick! I can dig it!
  12. Any new teasers for us?
  13. Highly unlikely at this point. I have multiple other sets in the works right now when time permits, and high quality EU sources are much harder to find. (Maybe someday though, so I'll never say never.)
  14. Here is all my stuff: https://forums.launchbox-app.com/profile/77427-abeezy13/content/?type=downloads_file which includes PS1
  15. Thank you! Just wait to version 2.0 in the future Oops thought this was something else of mine, ignore the striked out comment lol.
  16. Legit!!!! Cant wait to see it on the repo! If you're taking more requests how about Nintendo Switch carts and Nintendo DS carts? ?
  17. That looks, really, really good!!!! Amazed with your talents. Can't wait to download this one and play around with some carts!
  18. Man that looks wicked so far! You are doing a really good job on everything you've done so far!
  19. Looks superb so far! Outstanding work
  20. Danngggggg. Nice job so far, that looks sweet!
  21. Excited to see what you come up with. You've been doing an awesome job thus far!!!!!!
  22. I lack in the transparent area too, and can't really say I can offer much advice sadly lol :(. I do know the PCB takes up most of the "background", here is another image, you can see the cart is transparent but to eliminate background showing through it would be a PCB. So making the clear cart in illustrator with all the fancy vectors like you did for the OG cart (somehow learning transparency magic) and then using something like this for a layer behind it:
  23. For game boy color's cart is more transparent. What you did above has like a smoked/fogged look to it. On those carts you can see through into the internals and the PCB, like linked below: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Nintendo-Game-Boy-Color-Cartridge.jpg
  24. Hoping for some transparent game boy color carts next Also for shits and giggles (I use Illustrator, but what needs to be done to change the cart color, is there an easy method with so many different shapes and objects in the AI file?
  25. Haha, glad you like them, thank you!!
